Reynolds was told that some peeps were in her office. (At this stage there was NO ACCUSATIONS MADE) Clearly, Reynolds did not want to sit a couch on which 2 fools may have left their bodily fluids on so she asked for it to be cleaned. Rember also, that Higgins did not go to the Police, even years later. She went to the media.
I am not sure you are doing justice to the cause of Linda Reynolds who, as I see it, handled Higgins' experience reasonably well. If one puts oneself in the position of this kind with all its limitations set by Brittany herself, I ask how would you or I handle it? I am all for Linda Reynolds getting the justice she deserves after the damning remarks, etc from Brittany HIggins and her cohorts.
I believe Monica Higgins uses the Clinton episode successfully. Both made a good profit.
so one woman had sex with a colleague and it's been on the news for the next 5 years. Shouldn't women actually acheive something before getting publicity rather than ACHEIVING NOTHING!!!!!

I think it’s disgusting how Senator Reynolds has been thrown under the bus. After harping on about how much the Senator hated her if you go back Higgins a week later was sitting opposite Reynolds Britney looks carefree and the video showed no animosity. I think the Senator has been dealt with unfairly.

Reynolds was on the channel 7 show with the grapist and calls on one of biggest crooks, scomo as a witness. Lol.
Imagine a team member reporting a grape and you, as a manager, think ‘hmmm I don’t think I’ll report this grape in the office down the hall from the PM’.

@@poerava It wasn't Justice Lee who awarded her the payout. She was paid BEFORE that trial. She was paid without anyone being found guilty of anything. If you lose a leg at work, you will get less compo.
Think of all the young women who will never come forward because of Reynolds.
What nonsense. Higgins should have gone to the Police, not the media but most of all, she should not have gone to work at 2am on a Saturday Morning whilst not wearing underwear. (Not implying she "deserved it"), just highlighting what kind of person she is.

The entire original case of "alleged rape" has an odour about it that would disturb the senses if the interred dead. Some aspects just don't add up. Lerhman still hasn't been found guilty of this alleged incident.A magistrate has stated "that in all probability" he did commit the offence.That does NOT prove rape in fact & doesn't mean he has been convicted. The massive payout that was given to the naked,drunken female involved still has huge numbers of people scratching their heads as to why this payment was made.Was it reparations for distress or maybe an attempt by the govrnment to have her walk away ? It would seem we'll never know why so much public money was dumped in her lap. I read a report at the time that this woman was actually found naked in the office where this alleged assault took place.....was that true ? That wouldn't pass the pub test either,but there you go.He hasn't been convicted,she walked away with millions & everyone else has run for cover. Odd, just....... odd.

omg....this case from the start in parliament house when a female security guard instead of denying 2 intoxicated staff members access in the early hours of the morning and telling them to go home and sleep it off allows them to enter and creates the biggest the longest and most expensive rape case in Australian history it's done more harm to future rape victims than good and it needs to be made a criminal offence to go to Media before during and after a trail even the security guard went to 4 corners telling her story admitting she was only doing so to protect her ass from being sacked for letting higgins and lehrmamm into parliament house - neither the victim or the perpetrator should make money from a crime before judgement day
