With 100% Buster Sword Proficiency, I take 0 damage in Battle Stance....even with VIT & SPR at a mere "72".
I'm only using Dispel Blade, and Assault Twister+, then I stacked 4 SP Turbo Attacks (NOT SP MASTER)
Genji Glove - So all hits are crits, and breaks damage limit to 99,999
Genji Helm - So I don't use any AP and ultimately not having to use items. And Libra so I can keep an eye on her HP for the sub 10 million Ability charge ups. And to know exactly when her attack patterns change.
Cursed Ring - To stop DMW from doing anything.

Is there any difference if SP Turbo is used in place of SP Turbo Attack? Based on my understanding, a mastered SP Turbo Attack gives 100% increase in physical damage so does a mastered SP Turbo gives 100 percent increase in physical and magical damage?
When I tested it out, there was no difference in damage output between SP Turbo and SP Turbo Attack. Keep in mind, this was only with the commands I use which is mainly Dispel Blade and Assault Twister+. So I think you might be right with your description.

It's because my Buster Sword Proficiency is so high so I take zero damage when I go into battle stance to guard her attacks. I don't remember the exact percentage you need to be at for that but it doesn't have to be 100%
Can someone confirm this for me? Minerva killed me with judgment arrow and my self res didnt work. Does judgement arrow dispel phoenix down or is there a limit to how many times you can self res during the minerva fight?
Judgement Arrow removes (dispels) your Phoenix down. The same way that Flash Slash does.

Sometime the judgment arrow kills me even though I have phoenix on. Which I don’t know why.
@It’s all for love L.O.V.E Yeah, that's what we were talking about in the above comments. Even if you have Phoenix active, Judgement Arrow removes that status from you. So basically, you have to either stop her from doing it or have more HP than the damage it deals to survive the attack. And then you can use another Phoenix Down. Just be aware that both Judgement Arrow and Flash Slash remove your self res status.

How are you getting 0 damage blocks i have max stats and still get like 4-8k damage on blocks
any tips on how to get all the materia and leveling up to 99, also how do you get not get any damage?

Maxing your Buster Sword guard proficiency specifically (30% of the total proficiency) will nullify damage when you hold the combat stance. I'm about halfway with completing the guarding peoficiency and I'm taking 10% of the damage and countering.
You can build it by guarding at the beginning of battles until the proficiency stops going up (after a few hits). Best done while crushing side missions.
Great video and great skill! But I wonder how you are able to deal that much damage (50k+) with normals attacks on Minerva? I got ATK 255, Buster Sword proficiency 100.00%, 3x SP Turbo Attack (M) and have Genji Gloves equipped on character level 99 and am only dealing around 15k-20k with each attack. Are you using 4x SP Turbo Attack (M)?
It's because I am not using the normal attack. I am using Dispel Blade which basically has the same attack animation as the normal attack, but it does a lot more damage.
@@doomsephiroth Yep, figured it out myself meanwhile. When I'm using Dispel Blade I'm dealing around 40k damage per hit now, still 10k less than you. I bet you have 4x SP Turbo Attack equipped?
@@christiangibson3572 That's correct, 4 Mastered Sp Turbo Attacks. It seems like for every 1 you add, it bumps the damage by about 10k for dispel blade and Assault Twister+ (when not in battle stance). I tested doing just dispel blade and 5 SP Turbo Attacks and was getting about 60k-63k!

Having more sp turbos increases damage of my dispel blade attacks and Assault Twister when not in battle stance. If you notice, my regular dispel blade attacks in this video do 52k-56k. I've noticed for every SP Turbo, I get about 10k-12k more damage. To have 0 damage while in battle stance your buster sword needs to be around 85 to 90 percent. I don't remember the exact number. I use cursed Ring so the DMW doesn't activate any buffs or random videos. And I didn't need 99,999 HP because I didn't take any damage. If you're just trying to beat her and not concerned about doing no hit or no damage, then I would recommend having max max HP.

@Fingon3020 For the main commands I use (Assault Twister+ and Dispel Blade) I don't see any difference in damage output. I've tested this with SP Turbo, Turbo Attack, and even Master. So not really sure the difference. SP Turbo Attack says increase "physical attacks" and SP Turbo just says increases "attacks".

How are you getting 0 damage plus endurance with this setup?
It's my buster sword proficiency. So high I can guard and take 0 damage, even though my defense stats are garbage. My 1st Minerva video I was only at 63 percent and I took damage while guarding. And I would get the HP back with drain blade and Aerial drain.

@Nick Zotixx I went from 63% to 100% by farming "M9-6-5: Life Form of Energy". It happened pretty quick so the farm wasn't too bad.

I just completed the game on hard but left this fight for another day. I'm a little confused as to why zero guard damage, is it because buster sword has 100% efficiency that all damage is zero when guard stance?
That's correct. The 1st minerva video I put up, my proficiency was only about 63% and I was taking damage while in guard stance.

Yeah didn't really need it for anything since the only stat that mattered was ATK.
Why Dispel Blade though??
Two reasons. 1) It does more damage than a regular attack, and still has the same attack animation as the regular attack. In this video my dispel blade does about 50k-55k. The regular attack would be doing maybe 15k. 2) In her later phase when she applies Anti-Material and Ward All, dispel blade will remove then.
so 100% prof means no damage at all?
While guarding that is correct. I think 0 damage started somewhere around mid to high 80's so it doesn't necessarily need to be at 100%
I believe the only skill that will dmg u with 100% is Ultima.

incorrect, you might've had enough vit and spr to take 0 dmg, but the dmg negation comes from 100%, it's the red aura during buster stance
This vidio shows me that platinum in this game is too ridiculous so I give up before I waste any more time on this game platinum chase I did 140s side mission got my ass kicked from some level 7 mission last night after seeing genji requirements and dmv 100% I gave up
4 days ago, i was at level 1, now im at 100% mission completion, and only DMW left lol
Don't worry, you can still get platinim. You don't need to beat Minerva on hard mode.
