15th World Ageing Festival 2024 HighIights

The 15th Ageing Asia Innovation Forum (AAIF) returned to Singapore on 8th and 9th May 2024, hosted at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. This milestone edition integrated the 12th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2024 and the Ageing Asia Innovation Exhibition, which showcased the world’s top 100 products across categories like Assistive Living, Home & Community Care, Active Ageing, Technology, and Rehabilitation & Wellness.
Hosted by Ageing Asia, this global ageing event gathered over 6,000 participants from B2B and B2C sectors. With 100 notable speakers, 100 diverse exhibitors, and a curated selection of innovative products, it united representatives from 50 countries to explore the latest industry trends and showcases.
As Asia and Singapore’s first, the 2nd SUSS Geronpreneurship Innovation Festival also featured prominently, aimed at discovering and nurturing high-potential innovations to address the rapidly greying population in the region, while engaging various stakeholders in the gerontology sector.
In 2024, the theme “Redefining Care: Activating Communities of the Future” highlighted the event’s commitment to addressing the evolving landscape of eldercare and its global impact. The World Ageing Festival (6-10 May 2024), spearheaded by Ageing Asia, fostered global knowledge exchange, cross-industry collaborations, and sector partnerships, all focused on accelerating the launch of new projects and innovations.
