    I'm always looking for new ideas for my bugout bag gear! What have YOU added for 2021 survival gear that could help me out? Would love to get your thoughts in the comments.

      One thing to add to your immune system regimen: quercetin. Zinc by itself has a bit of difficulty getting INSIDE the cells, where it works to prevent viruses from reproducing. Quercetin is what is called an "ionophore," a substance that enables the zinc to get inside and be more effective.

      Quite true Neil. If you can't avoid the crowd, do NOT stop... but also, don't "floor it" and start crunching bodies. Slow and stead until you can find a break... and THEN floor it! Nice add Neil. :-)

    One thing l toss in to many of my kits...is a simple ...cheap box cutter. I use that to do mundane tasks...open a bag...cutting para cord...save my knife blade..and if l loose one....no issue. They weigh almost nothing....l keep one in my IFAK...to open my pressure dressing etc....and it’s basically a throw away.
    They are three for a dollar at Dollar tree...$.60 in Harbor Freight.
    I always have eye pro...plus sunglasses that are polarized....
    Great channel...excellent info...

    I’m in hurricane country and O&G country. We shelter in place most the time. Keep a clean garbage can and bleach on hand to store large amounts of clean/sanitized water to last about a week. It’s standard to fill up all the tubs with a bit of bleach before a storm comes in.

    A simple black hoodie is about the best camouflage anyone could need these days. And keeps you warm. Get a version that has grey or a different color on the inside so it’s reversible. Carry a baseball hat in one color and a knit beanie in a different color. Carry two masks of different colors. Keep a foldable travel backpack of a different color inside your regular backpack.

    I only made my GHB this past year so all my covid/civil unrest goodies are in there...however, what I did add was some comfort items for my wife. She has severe fibromyalgia and now a service dog. If and when we would have to ditch the car, we have a bit more water..about a pound of dog kibble and a moving blanket that is rolled up and strapped to my bag. The blanket is for her comfort because she will need to rest more often than if I were alone.
    She has her own ghb but it we use it as an add on to my primary kit.

    I gave you a thumbs up because the info was great but I will not wear a BLM patch to blend in. I agree on blending in and dressing the part but you bought that with your money. Which helps there cause and that I cannot do. Any time you put any logo on yourself you just painted a target and something people are going to look at. Grayman is about not having anything for somebody to remember you or bring any attention to you. Even walking with your family/kids will bring attention. That’s why bugging out is the last option no matter what and having a network of people watching each other is the only way. Think about!!!👍🍻🥃👊🏼🇺🇸

    • @coldwaterjimmy7044

      You do make a good point but blending in is the name of the game and surviving. Hey, who says you have to buy "patches", just sew a patch of your choice or use a Sharpie and write whatever you want on it ... The cost is $0 ... I concur I won't be buying any BLM stuff ... !!!

    • @Warrior
      @Warrior  3 роки тому +2

      Thanks for the thumb and your comments HBP. Most of the time, going gray makes total sense. I just want to be prepared for those times when "blending in" means playing a part that keeps me and my family alive. Here's a good example of why: ua-cam.com/video/WE3eMEtMTpY/v-deo.html. (BTW... liked your "Battle Of The Firestarters" video. You and your kid make a great team! Super funny and real! Keep him! hahahaha

      @@Warrior Thank God they didn’t get him out of that car. Because they would of beat them to death and what’s sad nobody probably would of done anything to stop it. That’s also a perfect example having multiple self defense tools and something close to grab. My wife keeps a large container of wasp spray in the door just for that situation. Something I added to protect her while in the vehicle and here friends do the same now. It reaches far and also more effective than some pepper spray. Thanks for watching the video and my boys enjoy it.👍🍻

The only place we currently offer them is inside of our free Survival Master Class here if you're interested: warriorlife.com/xbob/. We give a discount during the class as well and we're starting to release some of the additional features to our upcoming Academy members in the next couple of months. Regarding Martial Arts,
    Your channel is what helped me start off my Martial arts journey with practicality and gave me my principles, 7 years ago. Thanks to you, I was able to hold my own with experienced Kickboxers and other more experienced Martial Artist. Even when fighting an untrained adult, at 14 and 130 lbs. I always trained to fight trained competitors, assuming everyone I will ever fight... is a trained sports combatant. I am also going to compete in Kickboxing soon. You gave me the principles that I still live with today. Thank you.

Even when I played high school basketball, I always challenged the seniors on the courts when I was just 14. Got my ass kicked all the time - but it made me better and better and paid off in competitions among my peers. Keep up the great work and keep pushing your boundaries! :-)

    • @Warrior
      @Warrior  3 роки тому

      Good point Doug. Many people forget that these medicines don't have a long shelf-life. As I was grabbing some gear for an upcoming video, I noticed that I had a giant handful of motrin, etc. in one of my medical bags that was about 6 months out of date. Normally (from what I'm told), meds will last about a year after expiration, but I'd say less than that from setting in my bugout bag in the back of my vehicle in the hot Florida sun. Thanks for sharing!

    I checked out that Kbar spork and I am not sure why you'd recommend anyone spend 20 bucks on a plastic knife, fork/spoon. I walked intto a service station and picked up 3 sets of black plastic knife, fork and spoon for free. They like you to buy food there but its not essential.
    I have just got to the point in this video where you're recommending "Swimming goggles" to protect against viruses. Imagine finding yourself in a survival situation with your Kbar spork and goggles.
    Anyway I've heard enough. No one should buy any plastic junk at 20 buck no matter who " Recommends" it. That's my advice LOL.

And so I find it difficult to reconcile the warrior brand with these... "anxiety-easing" products like face masks and disease preventing goggles (lol). I'm sure they're effective at what they do, but are they what a "warrior" would buy? I doubt it.
