The Lange Rack

This is instructions for the Lange Originals Jeep Wrangler JK TJ YJ CJ Rack base system. This system hauls Canoes, kayaks, on your jeep wrangler. This system is awesome because you can remove your hard or soft top and have a rack.

Your right mac, we're working on a solution as mickey thompson sponsored us some 33's on our new test Jeep. Right now customers with over sized spare tires can order the front part of the rack (pn110-315 for JK jeeps), and then order a universal goalpost hitch mount system

Looks like a great systems. However, I'm not sure the rear assembly with fit over larger tires without extend rods. I have 33's.

Just purchased the Lange "The Rack" plus the Large Kayak Attachment. Assembly was easy and after a few adjustments I was able to strap on 2 11 foot Kayaks secure. Before I left my neighborhood this howling noise was coming from the front of the rack. I could not imagine driving 3 hours with this deaphening noise. I tried taping the Kayak attachment at a rest stop but that did not help. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST WHAT TO DO OR WHAT TO TAPE SO THE NOISE GOES AWAY?

Steven sometimes the milled holes on the edges of the front rack can make a flute noise with the air trapped in the channel. The solution is to tape the excess holes with gaffer tape or aluminum tape.

If you use a soft top with this Kayak rack, do you HAVE to take the top back or can you leave it on?? Every picture/video I've seen the top is pulled off.

Will this work over my tire cover? Looked a little snug when he was installing it. Love the concept though, need something so I can haul my Hobie Mirage Oasis on my JEEP :)

depends on the tire. on a stock x yes on a rubicon, it would be super tight.
