Step 1: Have a friend on Wall Street.
The interviews with Todd McFarlane, Bobby Hundreds, Kaws, and this are so awesome. They all resonated with me deeply and got me motivated. Thanks for this Noah!
Its always dope learning first hand experience from the people who actually pursued their passion! Dope video and even better series, Complex putting work in 💯
blueprint should drop more frequently not gonna lie. great series
its about who you know and how hard youre willing to work wto make sure those connections go the distance. this guy is living proof. great story
Geez!!! I love these interviews, I like looking into their perspectives/mindsets!! Thank you for doing this, Complex!🙏
Smart man.
I enjoyed this interview immensely.
I’m learning so much from this Blueprint series. Please keep them coming.
There is nothing like discovering a good product that is really unique. Even better to then discover the person behind it is genuine. Nothing but admiration for this company, with respect for his risk and credibility. Thank you. - Reid
Found this channel few days ago & this is something! Thank You guys a lot!
I don't know how I'm only just discovering this series, but it's marvelous.
Very inspiring series great interviewing of the subjects.Keep it up.
Yes!! Back on form with the caliber of guessed you have got this time, great episode!
What a great interview guys. Only come across it now. Cheers
Noah Callahan-Bever, nice interview style I enjoy it. Inspirational to see Jon Buscemi's rise, shows that with the right network and determination, and a bit of luck, one can change the world.
Great vid 👍🏽.. Bang💥Bang💥
Love that Dave Matthews band poster!!! Right in the cut!!
This was TOP NOTCH.. People forget the 90s and early 2000s everybody had a shot at making it! Even drug dealers! Hip-hop was the soundtrack for that era! We were all kids trying to find our way and we bonded through our journey!
Very nice informative interview love to see how creative smart minds work..just grind & believe 👍it sounds like that anything is possible.
I'm gonna do something great with my life and be right on here talking to Noah. Watch.
Word #newage
i believe in you just go make that shit happen

Do it baby
Get nigo on this shit!
Good interviewer, loved this interview!
Best series on Complex.
This interview was actually amazing and the interviewer was so articulate and well spoken. Good job!
These blueprints be the most inspirational to kick a person in the ass n say I can create!!💯💯💯🚀🚀
Noah gonna be on Blueprint season 10 being the one interviewed. Dope series.
I like his honesty, is the first "public figure" that says things as it is, more than his own talent and creativity, the knows "the right people" and he moves in the "right" circle, that with his talent and creativity made him successful
inspiring 🙌💯🌊
That story about Wall Street sounds like the plot from the movie "Boiler Room"
yeah it feels a little unrealistic
The stock crash effected everyone. Everyone before that was making money. Im guessing you gonna say he stole the plot of "Wolf of wall street" also. Why is there always a dick head that never believe the story when the result is in front of your eyes.
From the friend pulling up in the Ferrari to the "interview" at the shady Wall Street job.
I like Jon's attitude, i love the underdog
The key to competing is like he said be connected to the culture. If YOUR PRODUCT IS GOOD THEN YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL.
That Dave Matthews print is everything
Complex BLUEPRINT should is 100% TV content, i am inlove with the sereies
Great story
This is DOPE!
I still have a DQM snap back I copped in NY like 8 years ago
I wanna know what happened with Jon and Greats and why it didn't come up at all in this piece. Aside from that, great interview and great story.
I had kind of figured something along those lines is what went down. Thanks for the reply, Noah; I appreciate you taking the time. Keep up the good work. This is a great series, and the way you're able to guide people through their story as an interviewer is top-shelf.
Inspiring
I have some Leopard Gourmets and always wondered what happened to them. lol now I know
And do the LAmbo MAtador. Out a Jordans 2 and Picasso´s Guernica
9:03 is that landon from cufboys
I like the af1 low version
The only Buscemi we acknowledge is Steve
Talk for yourself who "we"? wanna be popular and down clown
Jose Sandoval the funny thing is the host looks a bit like steve😂
@TN MUSIC you must be fun at parties
That’s his cousin
They share the same sir name so you are acknowledging the same grandfather!!! LOL
I need this intro soundtrack - anyone recognises it?
That was dope.
Super dope
I was str8 & everyone around me was str8 sooo..... Now I'm good
His story is almost a little hard but those opportunities were Diamonds being handed to you
I like this story
Names of the shoes had me 🤣🤣
Yeah like the air Jon. It’s just a high end version of the Jordan 1🤦🏼♂️
I like this.
dope. period.
I doubt any of these people know about Dave Matthews good ole 90s tunes!!
haha I have those Gourmet kicks brand new modeled after the 7 size 10.5 if anybody interested. I was about to donate them because I couldn't sell locally. They ran kind of small for me.
Still got em?
Best fucking episode!
Thanks!
I just started restoring and customizing sneakers. My goal is my own store in my home town of Manchester NH. A Harley accident inspired me to follow my dreams. I am. Lets Go!!!
charles digloria ....be wise. There is nothing good enough to bring a sneaker head to Manchester NH. There is no prominent fashion culture there.
I'm watching this in 2021, over 4 years from when this first aired. Neiman Marcus sells men's 100 mm hi tops for $ 898.00
Jon you the man
Do an episode with Don C
Now do tha Chopped and Screwd. Out a wuarache and a Versachy Shirt. = )
Im so glad i managed to get 35's before the brand disapeared
I'm not gonna lie, I always thought the shoes were very vulgar, and kinda gaudy, but he as a person is extremely respectable and after hearing the whole design process, the mantra, and how much he genuinely believes in his products, it kinda makes me want to hunt down a pair in a colourway that i would actually like even though my personal style is more tech/athletic sneakers. A pair of 100MM would be a good contrast in my collection to Y-3s.
All young people should watch this. More valuable than what’s being taught in schools.
My role model
this man is a legend
dope
The resale on the 100MM is not great. I've been trying to sell my pair for the last 3 years.
great
Dude looks like a White Suge Knight lmao
dont compliment the rich herb
6:10 my nigga looks like Suge Knight 😂
Rhaize lol facts
Call him ‘White Sugar Knight’
good role model
Funny i actually have the pairs the he was sued for! Sneaker and culture history is amazing! S/O to all sneaker enthusiasts worldwide 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Steve Buscemi interviews Jon Buscemi
Sick guy
Damn
⚡
Quadici were my favorite sneaker ever
Lol this ain a blueprint this is called being lucky growing up in the right spot
how many fools grew up in the same spot and can't get it rolling?
No such thing as being lucky your WHOLE life, bro. You have to grind and be smart enough to capitalize.
NomadicEmcee But this guy was actually lucky... it’s the same thing with KAWS he just happened to know the right people, had some money to back him up, same with Ronnie Fieg, etc.
@@micharel937 yeah im not knocking his hustle not his fault he had people in his corner but its not like someone like me with 0 connections and immigrant parents can really use any thing from this as a blueprint
When I make it, it'd be an honor to be interviewed by noah
Why the fuck supreme collab with LV, they should have done the Lux shit with Jon man. He’s from skate culture support that dude would be my thoughts.
LV only did it because they saw anything with a supreme logo on it would draw the attention and resell market. Even if it would look tacy they was going to do it and..it work out for them. All their item was sold out
Okay so one shoe style. What happens after that?
I had some gourmet
Now ii appreciate dat ii got a pair, all thank to ma uncle.
RICHIE AKIVA OR DAVID GRUTMAN NEXT
Mans is the luckiest guy in the world no kap
So he de-constructed Nike and got sued..Then he de-constructed Birkin bag and no law suit?? Did he get their permission?
Dapper Dan.
The interviewer so sus
He needs to makr affordable shoes for 'regular' people.
Noah I’m up next
America! full stop!
why does this dude with the yeezys look like a DC villain
Where tf does the money come from
what money?
is this fungoogatz related to Steve Buscemi the actor? I knew a few Brooklyn boys who never went to college and worked on Wall Street. Total scam. Still is... duh. hence the crash of 2008. I dont really get how hip hop informs a $900 shoe. This guy is a genius for sure, and the interviewer wishes he was him.
INSPIRING INDEED
So the flyest dude in your hood (yourself) would rock a man purse lol .the flyest dude n my hood(me) wouldnt
Man for selling overpriced shoes smh
I get we aint all as fortunate as this man but it doesn’t create an excuse to why ya mfs still broke and hating smh
im here for this bullshit i live everyday like if u feel the same
Nike lawyer sees 3 white guys and shakes their hand and drops law suit...
He was just a rich kid playing with money his whole life. This ain't no blue print.
If you think like that you be broke like that your whole life. Dude made an empire out of his garage
How can you call him a vulture when he was and is apart of the culture
They're just hating.
Broke people love to hate because they have nothing else to show for
