What I like about this is how you're not forcing your choices on your audience as WHAT YOU NEED, but rather making sure it's an opinion take based on what suits your work. Great job as always

Thanks for making this video. Is it possible to make a follow up video on what cases you have for lighting gears and how you pack them? Don't know why there are many reviews on camera bags, but only a few on how to pack lighting gears, especially for overseas travelling. Any help is appreciated!

this is the perfect kit in my opinion. I want all these iteams for my studio, might swap the 120d for a 200d for alittle more output don’t need the better build quality personally

Thanks, glad you like it. This kit works really well for me :).

Thanks so much for this man. I’m trying to build a kit where I just have to take two bags. I just want a bag with wheels that can fit my lights and the light stands. The light stands and the dome are the hard ones to transport.

Thanks for watching !! I think the 60X or D and travel stands would work well then :). Of course if you don't fly around much then you can probably also get the 120D. Not that big, and the case is awesome to travel with.

Great breakdown as always. Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos. They are so helpful. If you could only bring two lighting products for a lightweight, one-person-crew documentary project, which ones would you choose?

Thanks a lot man !! Hard to answer since it depends on the projects and what needs to be lit, but either just the 120DII or the 60X with the MC :).

Do you have any diffusion recommendations for the Ammeron 198? I find it a bit harsh, is there any small softbox options?

How limiting do you think the output of the 60x is compared to the 120D? I've used the 120D before, but am looking for a nice multipurpose light that can be used as a key or a backlight/fill depending on the production. I've seen the 60d has a slightly higher output so I may go for that, but still have concerns about the output. I shoot quite a lot of interviews.

I'm interested in what you think about the 16-35 Canon L (just noticed on your BM6K) against the 18 - 35 Sigma Art which I know you love...

Thanks for watching !! Did you watch the Sigma review I recently did ? In it I talk about what I have both :).
I love those two lenses for different reasons.

I have both but the f2.8 16-35. If the sigma 18-35 not fitting on FF doesn’t bother you then get it for your 6k, you will love it. If you want to interchange with FF as well, get the canon. In my case, cos I shoot FF for stills and S35 for video, I just got both. Really also how you shoot matters and you can only make a well informed decision based on your shooting style.

@@sakhiwomthunzi I use the Pocket 4K so would be using an adapter... and use G9 for stills so looks like the Sigma covers me for everything. I have some investment in m4/3 primes but feeling the need for the 18-35 for a more adaptable, swift solution for b-roll. There's still a debate on the 'speed booster' options, but I'm sure I'll find the right way. Thanks Sakhiwo. :)

Have you updated your lighting kit since the release of this video?

    • @OfTwoLands

      I haven't but I do want to get a bigger light like a 300 or 600D :)
