Don't let your machine get that full, the full mark on the side off the dust collection bin is their for good reason, the reason is to ensure an adequate level of air flow to cool the motor. Good review, apart from the over full bin, these machines were a very good design and very easy to service, if you look after them they will give many years of service.
Thank you for this video. I have just bought this Hoover and couldn’t work out how to use the hose part with attachments. This is a very helpful video !!
The VAX Air Stretch Vacuum cleaner is like a child’s toy!! After you have vacuumed a couple of rooms either the dust container is full or the filter needs cleaning. Easily the worst vacuum cleaner we have ever owned!
I had this problem with my new one, I took it back to argos and they opened it for me. They do just pull apart but they are now extremely tight till you get them open the first tike
Theres little purple clips n one end of the tube...if you press the purple clip and push it onto the tube that doesn't have a clip. To release...just press the purple clip again and gently pull . I cant do a video atm as I'm working...but give me a shout if you get stuck
Sorry Karen, I couldn't hold the camera and empty into the bin I only have one pair of hands and I was showing the lovely people on here , how to work the vax 😅
@@evercleanhomeandoffice2839 You do not need to clean the filters every time even if it is full. One of the problemx with Vax uprights I know of is that dust and fluff gets into the motor and certainly would not take that apart.
@@evercleanhomeandoffice2839 You shake it out over the bin and empty it when the dirt reaches the max fill line. Cleaning out the motor is not something the owner of the cleaner can normally do. My uncle who was an electrician had to take his Vax upright completely apart to get the dust and fluff out of the motor.

Thank you read the instructions but didn’t make much sense, but watching your video makes complete sense 👍thank you.
Glad it helped. I've just bought an upgrade of the same hoover ....so might be another video soon 😎
Thank you for your easy to follow demonstration it was a great help (I was seconds away from throwing mine across the room) 😁
What a right mess you made emptying the tub, there is a MAX line on the tub for a reason.
Extremely helpful!! Set us up for a good acid trip 🫶🏻 Love from Aus x
Haha I'm not meant to be a you tuber....but glad I gave you a laugh 😂
There is a Max line, but like you I really filled the container, so your video did help.
I'm pleased its helped

Isn't that a good thing that it's filled up? I'd be more worried if my vacuum cleaner was empty after 2 hours of pushing it around 😂
I was giggling so much my sides thank you haven’t laughed like that since before lockdown 😜❤️
Glad I made you laugh
@@evercleanhomeandoffice2839 gotta be the best review ever everyone else is too serious xx
It’s exactly the same set up as my old dyson , that’s knackered- so il buy this …cheaper
Thank you great vid
Thank you 😊
Thanks this was useful
Great vid. Official instructions weren't great. £84 in Argos at the moment. Bargain
dimensions of the product disassembled? I need to know the piece's measurements (or at least the bulkiest ones)
Thank you for sharing this video
After having this hoover for a year it's the most awkward ever.
Can't do the twist bit. Mine seems to be stuck fast although trying both wars left and right turn
I had this problem with my new one, I took it back to argos and they opened it for me. They do just pull apart but they are now extremely tight till you get them open the first tike
Is it still working?
👌💕
Empty mine every clean
Any advice… trying to decide between this and a dyson dc50 animal
I prefer these...Dyson's are over priced and complicated .
Got rid of my Dyson, and replaced it with this 👍
How do you clip the attachments in???
It's got a little clip ..you just press it and push it on
@@evercleanhomeandoffice2839 It doesn't, work. Can you please do a quick video. We just don't get it.

@@BlowYourMind69 What a bizarre comment. Just purchased a Dyson. Can't be bothered .
How is it on hard floor?
It's great on had floors
Hi
Sorry but putting your dirt into a ‘Plastic’ bag defeats the meaning of bagless hoovers !!
Sorry Karen, I couldn't hold the camera and empty into the bin I only have one pair of hands and I was showing the lovely people on here , how to work the vax 😅
@@evercleanhomeandoffice2839 Karen ! Got your knickers in a twist. The word plastic and bag
@@Kikatebnpagan 🤣🤣🤣
To empty it you open the bottom flap you do not take the top off.
Hi Philip
You need to take the top off if it's full and to clean the filter. But the flap is great for a quick empty

How do you get the fluff off the inside then ? Theres no motor when you unscrew the top???

The motor isn't in that bit...its all plastic. The motor is in the Hoover itself . The bit that pulls off doesnt have a motor in it at all lol
I have this vacuum I absolutely hate it. Would not recommend.
Why do you hate it?
I love mine would highly recommend
