I always adored Phlox. He was a delightfully worldly, perennially cheerful, charming man of medicine. If I were traveling the stars, he’s the kind of skillful, patient physician I’d want around.
Man, the shade T'Pol threw at Trip from the moment this scene began was hilarious!!!! To this day, this scene cracks me up!!!!! And when the Klingons found out Trip was pregnant, I was dead; my stomach hurt too much from laughing!!!!

She could have just as another contemptuous gesture or it could have been Phlox babbling around as curious as he is about reproduction, mating rituals and cackling about people. At this stage all Vulcans were PISSED at primitive humans and PISSED with Andorians, Klingosn and Romulans. Jolene Blalock pulled of this scene to perfection with great writing, and no Mary-Sue-ing, no sjw-bs, just great Trek.
The Vulcans of this time period were extremely cautious and overly careful. Which is why it took them so long to rebuild their society and what scared the hell out of them about Earth folk. And let's be honest, Trip did have a thing for interspecies joyrides. Topal warned him about his lack of professionalism before he left on the mission and came home all knocked up.

Like they needed a couple somewhere on the show so the writers just randomly picked those two and said good luck... How would you rank Trip and T'pol's romance?... Also I hear Hoshi and Dr Phlox had a romance; how was that?
Vulcans are anything but emotionless. They PRETEND to be emotionless. It has been proven again and again and again and again they are far from being as good at getting rid of their emotions as they claim.

That was my favorite scene in the entire show. Before Archer's promotion, they were best friends (still are) but the relationship changed. Archer stifling his laughing is a throwback to when their relationship was equal. He wanted to laugh so badly at his best friend, but couldn't because he outranked Trip.
When T'Pol started in with "You were only there for 3 days...." I think the cast was really close to cracking. And Connor saying.. "We took a ride in a row boat"...lol. I nearly fall apart every time I watch that segment. Great video! Liked and def subbed!🖖
You can feel the jealously of T'Pol. The romantic involvement between T'Pol and Trip has to be the most endearing in all of sci-fi genera. There were a lot of good episodes in Enterprise.

More like contemptuous at this stage. She would think preposterous the idea of having sex with him even more ridiculous the idea to develop actual feelings. Doesn't mean she doesn't find him attractive. She nearly admits she is attracted to Archer in season 2 (episode in sick bay with the captain's dog) and that their rank difference made it simpler to them to avoid getting involved.
By definition, surprises ARE unexpected lol. But funny clip, this was a good show and by the 4th season it was awesome. Shame they ended it when the did.

More like contemptuous at this stage. She would think preposterous the idea of having sex with him even more ridiculous the idea to develop actual feelings. Doesn't mean she doesn't find him attractive. She nearly admits she is attracted to Archer in season 2 (episode in sick bay with the captain's dog) and that their rank difference made it simpler to them to avoid getting involved.
