i work at silver glenn and had no idea of what was really in the well as we call it,thank you so much for the look inside the best spring in the Ocala National Forest, Silver Glenn hell to the yeah!
I have not been Free Diving in Le Pit in years since they blocked it off (well, there was that one time when no one was around, but...). I had NO idea it opened up like that! Absolutely amazing!!
Unfortunately, the cave is not really suitable for open-access and/or large numbers of divers for a variety of reasons, including the fragile nature of the cave and potential geological instability (recent collapses on the line), high flow and small passage that would present difficulties for multiple teams (entering-exiting), concerns about an endemic species found in the system, and other management considerations.

How deep is the well?

How deep would you say it is?
So the well connects to the main headspring?
Yes, it’s all connected.
Amazing! Those small restrictions open up into those huge rooms. Subbed.
Surprised, with that flow, on would think likely BIG passages. Commented too soon, BIG rooms!!
Great footage.
Which light mount is that on your mask strap. Looks very sturdy.
Gorgeous cave
Oh yes!! amazing cave! the large room looks awesome!
05:33 wtf with the first sidewinder diver? "error 404 trim and proper kicking not found" :p
Sweet dive! Why do they not allow recreational or cave diving for visitors though?

Ahhh, all very good reasons. Still a bit of a bummer though. Thank you for the video!
I’m getting claustrophobic by looking lol looks fun tho
@@aocfishman00 That looks like the best water clarity in FL. Far and away the most impressive cave diving imagery I have ever seen.
Awesome.
How deep is the well?
The well depth itself is about 40 feet, but the cave system goes deeper.
@@aocfishman00 got ya. Thank you!
Man you dudes have all the good caves, gussing you need a permit here:(
U see any shark teeth ?
That was totally freaking me out.... not the depth or the close spaces, the music!
