Not sure if i told you but the q caught fire... Battery was replaced before i bought it. Was left loose. Wiggled harness out of retaining insulator, starter wire shorted out on battery compartment wall.. Luckily i was able to get away with just replacing abt 10 inches of starter and alternator cables. No blown fuses or CEL and everything is gold.. Been rolling around with half working windows and just now remembered "oh yeah Ed did a video on this." You'll be happy to know it works on the q70's also... Thanks for this saving grace... I got some exhaust work done. Should check out my cold start... I think you'll like it..

Hey thanks, very well explained. I'm unfortunately (still) dealing with a 2007 avalon front psgr auto window that just stopped working after a battery replacement. I was hoping for an easy fix but still debugging, as the drivers side control can't do anything 1/2 up/down but the control at that window works. Hopefully it isn't a relay on the driver's side pcb/pcp.
I had same issue and them manually done all the windows with above methode and all works well from drivers side

I need to replace or clean the connectors my driver side master switch on my 2019 FX35, do i have to remove the entire door panel or can i pry it out with a plastic trim remover and replace?

I changed the battery in my 2014 Nissan Altima fob and then the alarm wouldn’t set and the windows wouldn’t work or the locks. I watched another Utube video and it said you have to reset the fob by taking the key putting in the drivers door and turn it back and forth 8 times and it should reset. Well the key was not the right key for that car (just bought the car a few months ago). I had to call a locksmith out and paid $200 and he cut me two keys and everything now works EXCEPT the windows. I have reset my windows before like you are showing and it’s worked in the past but it’s not now. I need my windows to work. Do you know what else it might be? I’m a recent widow and no nothing about cars!!! Help!!!
Also window stuck down halfway but can it be fixed without starting the car?
My 08 FX35 isn’t doing this exactly, maybe you could help? The front passenger auto works but when it gets to the top it goes back down to about half open on its own. Any advice would be very appreciated 😊

How do I reset windows on 2005 Infiniti Q45?...some crack head busted my windows...I got them replaced but every time I close the window, it goes to the top but comes back down automatically on it's own a quarter of the way and stops...
In order for it to go back up and stay closed, I have to hold the button up for like 30 seconds while the window is completely closed for it not to come back down.

Are your switches aftermarket for auto rear windows?
They are factory. These models came with all auto windows
@EdBwoy ahhh I see. I have a 2015 qx70 and mine only has front auto windows on those switches. Ordered new ones from China though that gives me all windows auto, was only $30. Tbh I ordered them bc I was having this issue and then 10 minutes after ordering I saw this video hahahaha. Oh well I guess I have auto rear windows now
