Gotta love fixing other peoples "work" LOL It's hard sometimes choosing equipment with these newer tractors because the smaller models, while they offer a lot of hp, do not have the weight that the older tractors do. Glad you are able to get in the field!!
Good purchase Mark, in my opinion Glencoe possibly made the best chisel plow out there. A word if advice, if you can get to running that in the fall, it will work up really nice in the spring. Something else to look for down the road would be a buster bar or a 5 bar spike tooth harrow for the back. Either of those will make it work up better before planting.

I feel like that nut at 5:38 is cross threaded and that's why it wasnt tightened.
Looks like it might be a little wet yet,but I would rather it be wet than dried out and hard as rocks! Gotta love them used equipment jockeys!
Yes sir! Hope all is well!
Great chisel plows. We have 2 9 shanks and an 11 shank.
I like mine a lot need to find parts to rebuild a hyd cylinder
@@WorldsOkayestFarmer it shouldn’t be too hard. The glencoe soil saver was *the* coulter chisel back in the day. There’s still plenty around.
I would have went over that before I used it you guys get everything for a song and a dance at auction and expect it to be like new
Yep
