Session 4 Setting Eyes in the Mallard Drake Decoy

I had not watched this video when I set a pair of eyes in a Bufflehead a few weeks back. I did use a gouge, but I did not realize I had not cut the hole deep enough. I also filled in my eye channel with the plastic wood. I dug the eyes out last night, and drilled the eye holes with a bit that was plenty big. I will fill the holes like you showed, and try to get those eyes lined up and canted inward and downward. Bills are tough for me as well! Thanks again.
