- Starting on the River Solleu running through the Nubian capital of Theed, please enjoy this walk through the city to the Theed Royal Palace. The city is currently depicted as being under siege from the Trade Federation as it was during the events of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
History and lore of Naboo & Theed from Wookieepedia:
Naboo was a planet that was the sector capital of the Chommell sector in the Mid Rim, near the border with the Outer Rim Territories. The planet had an unusual plasma core, and its surface was a largely unspoiled world with large plains, swamps and seas.
The Gungans were an amphibian species native to Naboo. The planet was also home to Human colonists from Grizmallt who called themselves the Naboo. In late galactic history, Naboo was mostly known as the homeworld of notable historical figures who played major roles in the downfall of the Galactic Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, namely Padmé Amidala, Emperor Palpatine and Jar Jar Binks.
Theed:
The city of Theed began as a farming village, established by the local Naboo along the fertile banks of the Solleu River. The area, criss-crossed by the river's many tributaries, was suitable to permanent construction and quickly grew in numbers. When King Jafan unified Naboo's many warring city-states, he established his capital on the steppelands, which by that time had been densely populated by settlers who had fled the bloody civil war Jafan had ended.
As a result of Jafan's unification and the strict planning regimes and extensive rebuilding projects undertaken after the upheavals, the city took on a unified and harmonious architectural style of sandstone-like block buildings with green shingles on the roofs. A series of underground tunnels were built in the city's porous surface, all of which were meticulously maintained for generations. The sophisticated culture which emerged was suitable to the cultivation of politicians and statesmen, all of whom trained and studied the art of politics and public service in the city's many fine universities.

Just spectacular. I've often watched my son play this game and thought how nice it would be to just walk through and enjoy the beautiful worlds without getting blown up every 10 feet. And now here it is. I have no idea how you work this magic but keep doing it.
Things like this do make me sometimes wish there was a Star Wars Galaxies 2.
Never knew that I wanted a star wars simulator but now I do. A game like this where you just explore, interact with people, go about your day on various star wars planets.
Something like what Assassin's Creed is doing with the discovery tour. In some of their latest few games they added this discovery tour game mode where you just walk around in peace. You can stop at some places where a narrated voice explains about the history, people and the achitecture.
Starfield on console now has mod support you can pretty much turn it into that of a Star Wars simulator
Naboo is the most realistic Star Wars planet I’ve seen

I love Naboo but if you think of it being the center of the Star Wars universe of which everything was set in motion. The Clone war and Galactic civil war with Amidala and Palpatine as key figures. Even R2D2 started as a droid from peaceful Naboo. Mindblowing.

I live on the outskirts of Theed. West Quarter. Naboo is just as beautiful as Aldeeran (before it was destroyed) and may be one of the most beautiful planets in our galaxy, far, far away. :)

Well, your channel is underrated as heck. The realistic walking gait, the attention to things as mundane as potholes and puddles, the timing and choice of the music... this feels like such a real world, and like I'm really there on an eerily empty day (which makes sense since they're under siege).
Just the escapism I was looking for. A refreshing change of scenery on this cold raining day that's kept me from going out and filming today. Thank you as always.

On Naboo there is the Gallo mountains and the Varykino island , with a population of humans. Veruna is a king of Naboo , and he is a human. Thanks for video. I like it.

On Naboo there is the Solleu river , the Paonga lake , a lot of fields , a lot of jungles , and lot of forests. Naboo is elective royalty. The king is elected by the inhabitants of the planet.

Another amazing video! I noticed the kids on the other side of the river at the beginning of the video. I'm curious, is there a way to add human life to the scene as the character strolls? It would make it seem like less of a ghost town. But believe me, I'm not complaining!
Unfortunately no...or at least, I don't know how to. It might be possible with some very extensive modding though.

I have been trying to figure how to best make some LOTR content, but I'm not there yet. I have lots of ideas for LOTR stuff, but I can't produce to the quality I would want just yet. Unfortunately my best answer would be "maybe", but it wouldn't be any time soon
