Great video!! Does anyone else have a slight, high pitched, constant noise from the speakers? It's only when sound comes through, like when someone is talking to you on a phone call or a video is playing. If there's nothing coming through the speakers; there's no high pitched noise. My one and only issue with this phone.
My speaker does it very loudly on speaker phone, & I woke up yesterday to a phone that no one can hear me when I call them, yet everything else is loud & clear! So frustrating!
Does anyone know if there is a double tap to wake? I don't want to use gestures all the time, I prefer the navy buttons, but double tap to wake is super useful.

Can the time on the screen be changed so that the first numbers are not in red. For example my time have 11:02 the 11 is in red and the 02 is white. Can this be changed to all white?
One thing I can't find or do is reply to texts from the notification bar. Only options that display are Delete and Mark As Read. Is it possible to enable quick reply?
I have a problem where if my finger on the power button, the screen will rotate even though I have the rotate function turned off. Any idea how to really turn this off, I have don't like using a phone with a horizontal screen. Thnx!
How do I had the "tap" indication. When I touch the phone it leaves that little circle where I tapped. It didn't do that before so I know it can be taken off. Not sure how I put it on. But I'm trying to take it off
I love this phone. I've had it almost a year. Since the OS 12 was FINALLY downloaded I think it's even better If the "December 31, 1969" glitch has been remedied, as promised, it will be 99.999% perfect. Do You know whether the glitch has been fixed or do I need to take a chance on their OnePlus messages app?

@@mjmusictest2434 I’d say aside from Samsung,Motorola would be the potential upgrade option. Samsung has to much bloatware and Samsung apps you might never use that can’t be disabled , but would still use system resources. Personally I’d recommend sticking with Oneplus or Motorola for that authentic android experience
@@andrewgallegos1194 TBH, I would go for OnePlus. But I do understand that Samsung may have some bloatware in their phones, but although I still love their phones. If I buy one of them, it might be 128 or 256GB of storage space because I know system memory will take up some space. But I wouldn't have a problem trying out Motorola's either, might be the new G Stylus 2022 or some more recent ones. 😉
Following your tricks/tips here. Just got a phone for me and one for my brother. My phone doesn't take a screen shot when you hold down the on/off button briefly. It goes to emergency, power off or restart.

So when I minimize UA-cam (go to home screen while watching videos) it just sits in the bottom corner and when I try to move it it closes how do I change that
I found out how to switch answering the phone. Its original setting is you swipe down to answer, but on every other phone it's always been swipe up to answer and I was able to find a setting where you can reverse that so it goes back to the original swipe up to answer method.

Hello! When my is ringing a microphone appears then it turns into a green dot through my whole conversation. When I hang up then it leaves the microphone turns into that green dot like some one is listening to my phone calls. It only happens when my phone rings. I took my phone To T-Mobile they told I would have to buy a new phone ! Please ! Help!
That is just an indicator of your microphone or camera being used by an app. Check your apps and if any have permissions to use the camera or microphone, deny the permissions except while the app is in use.
It seems like a great phone until I tried using it in my car and it mutes audio from a Bluetooth connection until you switch to a different media output, and then back to Bluetooth. This is highly dangerous in traffic

This forces me to scroll all the way to the top just to read the entire message. Also, it's indicating that it was received in December of 1969. (2nd issue) In my car, I have the option to set the 4 most important contacts on the main screen and everytime I start my car, the contacts are erased and I end up having to re-store those contacts over and over again. Never had a problem with other phones except this one. Can someone let me know what could be occurring and if it's happened to you as well?? Thanks.
I have the same issue with text msgs. I have been instructed by the One Plus support team that this will be remedied in the OS update that is supposed to be coming at the end of August. I have stopped it by installing Messages by Google and setting it as my default. The message app that is preinstalled cannot be uninstalled but by using the other app, the messages are coming thru correctly on the preinstalled app. I have researched the issue and have found that this is a bug in the Linux partition that defaults to the original date. I am hoping it gets fixed so I can get the extra app off my phone but at least I can get my messages correctly now. I also have yet to see the promised OS update.
@@annettesutton1453 Have you had any issues when you load your favorite few contacts on your vehicle's screen to where every time you start your vehicle, they are deleted and you end up having to save them again. Not your entire contact list, but your favorite 4 or 5 contacts that you contact the most.
