    So they have laws, infrastructure protecting water quality? Living near Mexico all my life, I grew up hearing about the "Montezuma's revenge" from the bad water in Mexico, and that it's not just a health problem in Mexico, but is a problem in other countries as well.. "Oooh, just carry around bottled water everywhere you go." -No. That doesn't fix anything really, especially as a tourist, since street food vendors and restaurants etc., will very likely not!! be using "safe" bottled water. And no one seems to talk about this problem of water safety, either. So maybe I've just got it wrong. Am misinformed, overreacting. And it's just Mexico that has had the bad water situation.
