I always loved Edward Woodward in The Equalizer, however, I really had no idea that he was a gifted singer as evidenced by this performance. he was a Shakespearean trained actor, who brought a realism and quality to what could have been a standard "Robin Hood" type show.
Edward Woodward was WELL FIT! And he had a beautiful voice too - not often that happens. Lucky Michele Dotrice - being married to that! Thanks for Posting.
WOW!!! I had no idea he was such a gifted singer. A beautiful voice!!! Seeing him in "The Equalizer", this is a side of him I had no clue about. A true treasure! Makes our loss even greater.
To the Americans/Canadians and others posting here, do yourself a great favour and watch Edward Woodward in Callan. One of the greatest TV programmes ever made. And whilst you are at it, watch Morecambe and Wise. You'll thank me for recommending both.
I had forgotten how funny these two were....there is no comedy of this type today that I know of.....a lot more talent, comedic intelligence and humour than the cheap hackneyed sexual innuendo and sarcasm humour of today's two-trick ponies. Edward Woodward was a multi-sided talent of course ....great voice
Good Old Days BBC 3b all Edward Woodward fans must watch this gem that I only just found that has been on you tube for years! the first time I heard him sing was on The Good Old Days and here he is in costume singing in the Variety Theatre Leeds.....WOW watch all the video he is at the end after some other great performances including Eartha Kitt
@merrickjles I have about 10 albums including the soundtracks from two musicals you can find them on the internet at a reasonable price if you keep looking :-)
Good actor - and so underrated as a singer. Shame he's no longer with us.
Why do we have to get old? Why do we have to wither and die? Edward Woodward deserved a pass from mother nature. He was so talented.

One of the great, under-rated actors. I never knew he was also a talented singer. He will be missed.
What a gorgeous man, with such a lovely voice! I always liked him -- well, who wouldn't, what with all that equalizing?
