I went there last year and I think it's one of if not my favourite country can't wait to come back (btw I've traveled to many places and it is still my fav)
Lol, Louis on every preorganised trip: "Where are we?" "Where are we going again?" "I don't know what the plan is" "I don't exactly know what we're doing now" haha
Honestly my eyes water when I see your videos and I can see you are enjoying every minute here in my country, I am so proud of Perú and im super glad you are liking everything you see! These videos of you in Perú just make me very very happy😍
My husband sent me on a trek in Peru a few years ago and I loved it! I wish I had started posting videos back then. I guess we'll just have to go back together. Thanks for posting and bringing back such great memories!
Peru looks amazing and insanely beautiful, I also like the way and the colour scheme of their clothes just like you said. This is one place I would love to go to
This vlog brings back so many memories of my recent visit to Cuzco over the winter break! The altitude sickness is rough but the view is spectacular! As a Peruvian, I am so happy that so many people are taking interest in our culture and food. - safe travels to you guys
I'm peruvian and I'm glad you visited my country. i went this year after 13 years of not going and i fell in love again. its lovely to see the people there welcoming you to their homes. i hope you enjoy it.
that was amazing the solar panels in the little village by the river is mental, and the music and colours of their clothes is so beautiful I just want to be part of that magic great food aswell!!!!
Thanks for being a huge inspiration Louis, the other night I booked my a flight from NYC (somewhere I've wanted to visit for four years) to Cartagena in Colombia, the first stop in my South American backpacking adventure. I'm so excited to finally live my life how I want to. I'm packing my bags, selling my furniture, becoming rent free and seeing where life takes me. Still deciding if I should vlog my experiences, but i'm defiantly thinking about it. Peace!
+Lozzzaaa55 I spent my two months in Medellín and had no problems with buses, taxis, or the metro (the only metro in the country and they're SUPER proud of it - it's pristinely clean and there's security everywhere). If you're taking buses in the cities, I noticed drivers were willing to stop anywhere you asked even if it wasn't an official bus stop. People are very generous and willing to help. With taxis, they say you should keep your door locked and window closed because there have been instances of people ambushing passengers. I was nervous and did this at first but after a while felt comfortable and didn't do either. Just make sure you don't flash electronics or jewelry. The only precaution I took in the metro was keeping my bag in front of me. Again, never had any problems. If you're in Medellín and go to Guatapé, I recommend staying longer than just a day like most. It's so nice to settle into the small town rhythm and explore the beautiful scenery around you. Enjoy!!
Liat Noten Wow! Thank you so much for the advice! The first thing my dad said when I said I was going was "omg that's the drug capital of the world, why are you going there??" He obvs hasn't done his research haha. I've heard so many good things about Colombia and how beautiful it is.
+Lozzzaaa55 He definitely hasn't. Seeing how far Medellín has come from its dark days is incredible. One of my fav memories is going to the local market and eating lunch at a little stall. I was sitting across the stall from a man who had brought his own avocado to lunch (not uncommon!). He ate half of it, finished the rest of his meal, asked the woman serving us to give me the second half, and just left. Such generous people!! ❤️
How have I never heard of these floating islands before? They look so amazing! Definitely near the top of my bucket list now. I'd love to talk to those women and hear their stories.
+pegameunviaje Well I used to edit a lot of videos so I know the basics of it. It should be really simple, just make sure you have the right programs. What he did was have some animated text with a transparent background and he just motion tracked them next to the wall. Just do some research on motion tracking and hopefully you can do something like it.
Awesome videos Louis! I was in Peru last summer and if I may, I have a couple of suggestions depending on your itinerary. There is a town called Paracas which is on the southern coast and it is home to the "poor mans Galapagos islands", fair warning that the tour is completely dependent on the tidal conditions, so it is a bit risky. Paracas is also fairly close (5 hours in a bus) to the small town of Nazca, where the really famous Nazca lines are. Hope you enjoy your trip, and if you can want more adventures closeby, Bolivia is wonderful, and almost completely free of tourists!
I was just there about a month ago and watching these vlogs of the same places I went makes me so nostalgic! It's honestly so beautiful there and I miss it so much
Go to Copacabana!! Its in Bolivia but you can get there from Peru, its an amazing place to visit. Im from Bolivia and have to go there every time I visit!!
I really want to see the Cusco vlogs..its one of my favorites cities (im from Lima) also i hope you come back and visit other places like Arequipa and the jungle we have a lot more to show you
Great video Louis, you've inspired me to start vlogging and I did one yesterday, I managed to record myself on a bike ride and a car hit me off my bike and I got it all on camera. Lol. Great video mate!
I love how he just full on punches his camera at the end of each video. Not like pewdiepie with the weak 'brofist', Louis (not me but him XD) fully goes for the kill on the camera XD Epic
Something that caught my attention..first a white standard poodle, then a dog with a sweater on. So is Peru dog friendly? They're not like Cuba where they have stray dogs running around the street? I'm sure there's a few but it doesn't look like there's a ton. Usually you see a stray dog in every corner, and they run in packs. If so, this makes me *ALL* the more interested in Peru. I'm a softy for dogs and dog friendly countries, I get extremely upset if I see a dog sleeping in a pile of garbage or on the street. It kind of ruins my vacation. I think I'll go visit Peru next year.
^^ they're both right. I live in Lima, in a neighborhood with very little apartments and here there are lots of them but we all try to adopt as much as we can and feed the ones who have to sleep outside. My family adopted one but my mom and I consider we have many more cause we all feed them daily and buy them sweaters and beds for the winter. It's the same with cats.
Ah so cool! The people shaking hands at 6:48 greeted you guys with "alli punzha", which in Quechua (and Quichua, the Ecuadorian version, which I speak!) is "buenas días"! I got unreasonably excited when that happened since it isn't something that I encounter nearly enough. Indigenous languages are the best!!!
And i'm here... in my room... watching his videos at 1am because i'm too lazy to study for tomorrow's exam. Also Titikaka translates 'you-you-poop' in my language 😂
+TvojaMAMA77 haha my story exactly. And then I read the translation and it made me laugh so hard. Hello fellow slovenian person :D Oziroma zivjo haha :D
+TvojaMAMA77 there is a dialect in south east asia where the word titikaka means: titi = to pee (urinate) kaka = elder/older person. Also in the same country, in another dialect it means: titi = male reproductive organ, kaka = older brother. :DDD
I visited Peru just two weeks ago and it's so funny, i've been at the exaaact same places as you! I am from Germany and live at about 800m, i had absolutely no problems with the altitude. Pretty happy about that :)
OMG THE AUTOMATIC HUGS FROM THE LADIES ON THE FLOATING ISLAND!
I love seeing Chloe again, she majorly gorg and so funny!

Peru looks amazing and insanely beautiful, I also like the way and the colour scheme of their clothes just like you said. This is one place I would love to go to
I'm from Guatemala and I've visited Peru, best place I've been, super fun and really cool experiencing and exploring there.
Peru seems absolutely stunning! I've never thought about visiting but now I definitely want to! Can't wait for Louis to go to Bulgaria!
This vlog brings back so many memories of my recent visit to Cuzco over the winter break! The altitude sickness is rough but the view is spectacular! As a Peruvian, I am so happy that so many people are taking interest in our culture and food. - safe travels to you guys
Wow Louis! Your quality of videos is crazy amazing. Better than most documentaries on different cultures I've seen!
I'm peruvian and I'm glad you visited my country. i went this year after 13 years of not going and i fell in love again. its lovely to see the people there welcoming you to their homes. i hope you enjoy it.

Enjoy! I spent two months in Colombia last year - wish more bloggers would go there. It's BEAUTIFUL.
Liat Noten Oh awesome!! Any tips and tricks? Only thing I'm worried about is public transport and how safe it is.
+Lozzzaaa55 I spent my two months in Medellín and had no problems with buses, taxis, or the metro (the only metro in the country and they're SUPER proud of it - it's pristinely clean and there's security everywhere).

That sky at 6:56 waouhhhh, beautiful culture and people so charming :)
i loved the closeness you can feel just in that short lil scene of yous two laying on the boat deck,,,!!so prescious bro....
When he said Cuzco and llamas I immediately thought of the old Disney show The Emperor's New Grove haha
Why did I watch this vlog just before I head off to work! Such an amazing place!
you should do a vlog explaning how you do your first part of the videos!
Are you taking about the motion tracked text?
+Stacher. ($) yesss, I don't know to do It. Maybe It's too simple, but I don't know :S
+pegameunviaje Well I used to edit a lot of videos so I know the basics of it. It should be really simple, just make sure you have the right programs. +pegameunviaje I really admire Louis' artistic creativity.

+Ellie Lannister There are plenty of street dogs in Peru, especially in Lima (the capital)
yes you can see dogs on the streets but these lasts years there are more campaigns to adopt dogs instead of buying and trying to save streets dogs
