While this is obviously just a rebrand the express routes going around the city could be very helpful. Some of these feel a bit disjointed though. Why does the one from Canary Wharf stop in Grove Park rather than just continuing to to meet two other routes for example?
It's a shame - the 607 harks back to 1916 when it was a trollybus replacement for a tram. The whole Superloop scheme is a bit of a let down tbh: as someone says, the Canary Wharf to Grove Park route is a bit naff. Green Line 725/726 used to offer connections from Gravesend through to Heathrow & Windsor via Bromley and Croyden (the current 726 being a pale, shortened imitation). Actually, the SL8 and X68 aren't even really Superloops, in that they aren't part of a circular network but head into central London. Privatisation and TFL haven't served London's buses very well.
They need express busses going from the extremities of London into central London with 3 stops in between. Tube is expensive and doesn’t do it for me !
The superloop scheme is rather disappointing and anticlimactic. First of all, people unfamiliar with London will not understand that the prefix ‘SL’ means an express bus. Having bus routes beginning with an ‘X’ is so much clearer, particularly for the routes which don’t even form part of the loop. I’m also quite worried with what’s happening to the X26. While I welcome an increased frequency for the route - something which has been needed for quite a while now - , and new buses with air condition to replace some of the few fully diesel bus routes left - again something which has been needed for a while - , TFL have seemed to forgotten what the purpose of this route is. It’s to connect Heathrow to South London. While some people may use the route to travel across London, there are so many others with large suitcases, and if TFL plan to replace the buses, Luggage racks need to stay. Removing them would be so idiotic, and could actually be quite a large safety hazard on the bus. I’d rather keep the dusty diesel buses, with the luggage racks, even with the single door at the front , than replace them with a barely functioning ‘hybrid’ motor and no luggage racks. Honestly, it’s all a bit disappointing.
apart from there being tooooo many stops between white city and Acton central, 20mph speed limits ,too much traffic lights, the exact same bus just white paint covering i,t not enough bus lanes and uneven waiting times than yeah its good
This rebranding project is utterly useless because it is made up of several different bus routes instead of a single continuous run without the need to change routes, thus there's nothing super about this so-called Super-Loop

i agree a further extension to bromley would just be more effective as it will connect with the other 2 routes

yep that's true. SL4 is one of the strangest of all the superloop routes

How faster exactly is the bus? Because If I could get to Abbey Wood quicker than I can right now I would appreciate it.
there’s barely any point 💀 it’s just a new name with a few usb ports and less bus stops
It makes my journeys in Southeast London faster.

@@izanity9056 I currently have no good connections around London, which makes me late for stuff.
@@eastlancsesteemwe havent gotten Superloop yet.
@@chelseacomps829 Don’t worry. We will soon. 🕒
Your Clip only states the 1st bus sop no mention of any other stops like the grapes or where you can catch the SL9 bus along the route.
480 quality max? seriously? :-)

It would be nice have new superloop express Harrow weald garage to Halsdean Willesden junction scums lane it run 182 and 18 n18 ?
Do you think it would have been better if it was bendy buses rather than double decker buses?.
I remember a time bendy buses were catching fire in the drivers compartment

@@eastlancsesteemno one cares
@@izanity9056 Yes we do. Us Southeast Londoners need it.
@@izanity9056 What do have against us?
@@eastlancsesteemNo you dont. You can use 269 and 301 or 229 which follows the exact same route as this new "superloop"
It's a wast of tax payers money
It’s not as expensive as new rail tracks.
superloop is just a waste of branding you can literally just make the other routes and no one would care XD
@@izanity9056 True.
@@eastlancsesteemThat doesnt excuse it for wasting money, that money couldve been spent on way better than changing the route number
The superloop is sooooooooooooooooo helpful
It was better when 607 all it sl8 express does not have in blue means express signs front of the bus supercool sound goes round london?
Seems pointless. Just put more buses on the route.
