Well done William. Your videos are excellent and that’s a terrific PB. I got my sub 3 marathon in Edinburgh with a time of 2.54.24. I think you’re almost a cert to break 3 next time out. Salt stick chews sorted my cramp. Thanks for the videos. They really have helped.

Thanks. At the moment I have a 10km and a timed staged run in Sheffield. So just enjoying running without any plans for now. I'll look for some stuff for sure to be apart of my Amsterdam build up.
It’s not something I would do myself but everyone’s different and if you feel you need it then there’s no harm in experimenting. For me what I’ve learned about hydration is being fuelled properly before the run and day or days leading to a race is important. Then the morning of the race few hours before too. But drinking too much too close to the race and too much during a race doesn’t really help me. A few sips here and there for a half marathon is all I need now, in the early days of my running I always thought I needed more water.
