I was there and hearing these guys sing the national anthem was great. I believe everyone stood a little taller during their performance and was proud to be an American. So many times I hear a performer try to make it their own song and I want to crawl under my seat.
Best Job of the National Anthem I have ever heard. Not one wardrobe malfuction, and they knew the song perfectly.
you guys should do the national anthem for every race in your area. the power of your performance matches the power of the cars and the level of these races.....good job.

That was so beautiful and inspiring!! I am now a fan! Awesome! I had the privilage of performing that at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in June, for one of the Thursday night Thunder races. Of course it was no where NEAR as crowded as it was this past Sunday, but it was still such an honor!

@CaptMoo There's an invocation before every race--it dates back to the southern roots of NASCAR, where faith was very strong and it was felt that racing on Sunday afternoon really did require some recognition of God's power. Today, even those drivers who are agnostic (there are very few, but some exist) will actively resist any attempt to eliminate the invocation from the pre-race ritual, on the grounds that it certainly can't *hurt* to have one, and if there's a chance it'll help protect them..
We stand for the anthem and kneel for the fallen who gave their lives to protect us and our freedom. Take notes, NFL.

@skylermiller29 - Ms Aguilera needs to get a lot of lessons from a lot people who have done an outstanding job of singing The National anthem over the years. Lets just hope we have no more pop stars singing The National Anthem at anytime in the future.

Could these guys sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl, please? They do it with much more respect for their country than other famous Hollywood singers. They are singing for the glory of God and out of respect for the greatest nation on earth. Plus, they just sound better than artists like Drake or Lady Gaga.
