- Hii! In today's video, I worked on sewing stuffed animals AGAIN. This time I decided to sew the stuffed animals out of clothing items like socks and scarfs. I sewed my own custom bunny plush from scratch by making my own sewing pattern / template.

ABOUT ME:
Hi, my name is Marissa (AKA Bellamena)! Making videos about art is my favorite thing to do. I'm not a professional artist or anything (I'm actually a Computer Scientist 🤓) , but I have a lot of fun trying to make stuff look cute. TIPS 🟢If you run out of poly-fil you can use your left-over fabric scraps. 🟢 Sew outside the inner ear to keep the wire from shifting in the ear.

Your stuffie series has been my favorite so far.
I wonder if you could do a makeover stuffie. Like get a "whoa" looking stuffie at a thrift store that you could make cute, new eyes, fix big old holes, put on a new arm, or just literally cammibalize a for parts for a better squishy.
I think this is where you really shine if I’m being honest. This seems to be your niche.

I definitely want to do this eventually!! I've been trying to do all sorts of animals to practice first before I try doing something more complicated like a squishy. But maybe in the next few episodes I'll feel ready :)

When short on fabric you can always make the legs, arms, ears, etc in different colors. Like one leg could be white and the other brown.

I'd recommend a fabric / flexible / sewing measuring tape, it'll help with the pattern making

An idea for the “measurements” that you do, if you take a small string and use it to measure the shape. Then all you need is a ruler to measure the length or even placing your string on the paper to mark your beginning and ending points

Might I suggest sculpting?? In relation to stuffed animals, what you do is you take a thread and needle and you "sculpt" the face to make it more defined (look up, "stuffed animal sculpting with thread")
