To help Pairs get over his bathroom trauma I've learned that having one dude cover the door and another kick it open in a bathroom of that size would cause the suicide bomber on the other side to get hit by the door and be stunned for a second and the shooter covering the kicker can finish the job. Maybe not so realistic but definitely doable with game mechanics.

Yea ceo makes some great maps. The replay-ability of dk2 is phenomenal, I just want them to add doctrines units and more guns as well as attachments to really dial in some lethality and speed
@@Foxhound_J As excited as I am for a campaign I'd prefer they take their time. I do think development could be a little faster, but their updates are also rather bug free and clean, so they seem to have a very high quality standard. All that means though is when we do get a 1.0 it will be flawless

Hear me out: PVP with a turn-based WeGo system like Combat Mission, but with instead of one minute execution phases five second execution phases. alternatively, real time with pause but where either player can pause and both have to hit the play button to continue.

@@ControlledPairsGaming The thing I was worried about was the northernmost door, which the marksman actually has no eyes on anymore, because he was moved. Anyone squirting from the South Western door would either be engaged by the assault team as they moved South, or would be engaged by the marksman as he moved North. The Northernmost door doesn't actually have anyone covering it, because the marksman is actually staring at the bed of the truck, and can't even actually see into the window of the central structure.

At 32:18 wouldn't it be better to relocate marksman uptop to that deadspace near fence and cover right yard with two houses? Make three men get inside building simultaneously?
Loved this vid. I just got the game. How do you do the pieing move when moving, so the operator will continuously focus on a specific area when moving? I've been doing it manually by getting him to look a specific direction every few paces, and this would make my life so much easier.
What the hell are these doors made of?!? The AT in the end blows a secondary wall open behind the first point of impact, but the door that is right inside the blast radius is unaffected. Strong carpentry, that.

I really wish the rebooted X-com games had used a system like this rather than the RNG dependent & action point turn based they did, hunting xenos like this would of been far more tactical... and terrifying

I was a bit worried at 38:10 when I saw that the assault team lacked rear security, because the marksman ceased to be protecting their flank.
Fair. We'd cleared most of it and the marksman had decent eyes on the only avenue of approach. Still risky. Gunfighting be like that tho
