How to Make a Modroc Creature Creation | Zart Art

A plaster impregnated bandage used to create 3 dimensional art works. Create an armature with newspaper, tape and Armature Wire. Fill a container with water and squirt a dollop of PVA into the water. Cut Modroc up into small rectangle strips before immersing one at a time into the water. Wring excess water off the strip by pulling it through two fingers over the water container. Press the wet Modroc over the armature and smooth out the wrinkles. Continue this with each piece of Modroc until the model is covered with at least two layers of Modroc. Set aside to dry over night and paint with an acrylic paint e.g. Vipond, Shimmer Glass Paint.
