Yea when I really think about it, that’s kinda trippy. Just like you said almost an exact copy of yourself. Even their games are the same to the T. Im sure with the exception of some minor differences.
not to mention homeschooling, garage gym, daddy blackbelt and upper middle class, and moving from maui, hawaii just to go to california and train with mendes
@@nainoa2323 no matter what the circumstances, everyone has to overcome stuff. They still had to put in the work to get where they are. Hating on that does no good for anyone.
@@DeepDiveJJ I don't think he was hating on them rather pointing out a fact. They certainly had some privilages 99 percent plus of practinioners did not. This was obviously not the only factor to their success but its undeniable that it is one of the factors that contribute.
Man this video came in super clutch. Ive been practicing their leg pin passing and this study only confirms how effective it is. Thanks for the study, great editing!!
Awesome overview. That helps to understand what the hell I'm looking at when I see them compete and why their wild scrambles still result in wins. Also just FYI it's pronounced LOCK-LAN, not LACK-LAN. Think Lochness monster.
Thanks for watching! Yea same here. Doing this study really helped me to understand what is really going on. 😭Im always butchering someones name. I try my best every video thinking Im saying it right, but in the end I always mess something up lol
Thank you! Yea I’m definitely planning on going more into that. It really is such a fancy yet effective counter. I love it. Been drilling it quite a bit.
great content, im curretnly checking this, if you can please do one about dalpra, i attended a one of his seminars and was very catchy about guard passing
Well of course this is within the context of BJJ… so why would they worry about being kicked and punched? That’s like saying while watching a wrestling match, “well it’s easy to take a guy down when they aren’t getting knee’d to the face”.
@@DeepDiveJJ Exactly and I don't understand this fixation that some people have "what if they get punched" what if you punch a chess player? It makes no sense.

Having a Copy of yourself to train with every day for over a decade must be such n Advantage in figuring Out a unique game
Small advantage

damn. that passing exchange with dante at the end was insane.
It was crazy for sure
Love the leg pin! Even just the mindset of passing to North/South instead of stopping at side has been a huge game changer for me. 🙏🙏
Same! It’s such a unique concept that I don’t see anyone but them doing really. Glad it’s working for ya!
love the leg chop armbar
😂 just don’t try it out at your gym

Thank you! Check out my recent videos. I actually did one on Tainan's guard passing already
John Danaher also calls it reverse toreando
great vid
Thank you!
Can you make a video on Gustavo batista’s passing
Haven’t studied him at all but I’ll give him a look! 😁
How good are the Routolo twins compare to Marcelo Garcia and Roger Gracie???
I’m not sure honestly. They are still so young and have totally different games.
Great video. I do not like the name reverse toreando lol. But yeah idk what to call it either.
Let’s do a buggy choke video bro !
Only if you’re able to buggy choke the sultan of strangles in a super fight lol
@@DeepDiveJJ you know the answer to that question, check the tapes 😚

"Whitebelt lives matter too" Now *that* belongs on a t-shirt.
Unless that guard is Levi's 😂
I'll keep it honest because they are not getting punched and kicked so it's easy to focus on being efficient in guard passing

If you’re on your back throwing kicks and punches you’re pretty much losing the fight anyway 😂!!!
