man I have been listening to edm for 14 years now, scoured soundcloud all day in school, kept up with all the up and comers, and worked in the industry for 10 years, one at a major edm label (not A&R sadly) and this is fucking insane. i remember hitting a point with edm where soundcloud was losing its place, my feed was nothing but uninspired future bass, trap beats, and overly formulaic riddim and feeling like edm was dying out and nobody was there to push boundaries anymore, many artists gave up on authentic music creating to to make calculated template like songs that they knew would would hit more numbers and I remember thinking what would a proper evolution of some of these edm genres sound like and would it ever happen? this is it. this type of depth and flavour makes old GOATS like excision and datsik feel like switching from 4k resolution to 720p. this right here is is a great example of some of the crazy talented and innovative new wave of edm producers popping up lately, idk what happened and what sparked this revolution recently but raiwinnn you have a front row seat to the next generation boundary pushing innovators in the scene and this is everything I imagined when i thought of a new generation picking up the torch and reigniting that passion to de authentic and to deviate from the norm. good luck with your career and i hope you inspire a lot of new producers
Sub is overpowering the mix and the rest of the elements. Don't get me wrong ideas are sick af. Big potential but make sure to make space for mids elements and add more clarity to the melodic content too :D
