This is a very good list and I found most of them in line with my own experiences. I traveled off and on from 1987 to 2001 and have been in 73 foreign countries. I have very often told people that traveling was the best education I've ever had. I also strongly agreed with the point about learning about other people and other cultures. I was recently was talking to a friend and he commented that he feels that one of the biggest problems in the United States right now is the "fear of the other." I agreed and said, "I've definitely had my inoculations." He laughed and said, "Yes. Yes, you have."

@@anddila2730 I met a woman. We became a couple in 2001 and are still together. She isn't interested in traveling and I got a job and saved up for retirement and have enjoyed the last 20 years very much. I did renew my passport but it was right before the pandemic so I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. I feel like I've had more than my fair share of travel experiences but there are still a few things I want to do. For one, I want to visit Norway to see where my grandparents lived.

I agree with number 15 completely. I have travelled to over 30 countries in different parts of the world and my bucket list is still full.

This video came at just the perfect time. We just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas. We visited Princess Cays and Nassau. This trip was only the second time we've been out of the country, but our first being on a cruise ship. The experience was incredible. We loved being spoiled aboard the ship and meeting so many people from other countries. It was wonderful to break up our routine and see that part of the world. We've already decided to go on more cruises!
To date, I have visited 14 countries outside the US. I've lived in 3 of them. I am American, born and raised, but right now I live in Trinidad and Tobago. My favorite place to visit hands down is Queenstown, New Zealand. I love that whole country and I am really looking forward to going back there again!
Romania has been my most favorite country to visit. I'm learning Romanian so I can go back and communicate better.

It might sound like a great idea until you hit the last quarter of your life and realize having kids and bringing them up to be a better version of yourself is the sole purpose of your existence.
When I watch your videos I feel like I'm in them and im traveling or working just like in the video. Truly great content as always. Also 2 weeks ago I packed up in 10 minutes at midnight and started driving somewhere new it was the greatest feeling ever.
I am living in Bali indonesia and so far, I've been to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, HK, Australia. Hopefully I can visit more countries in the future. 😍

As much as I agree with the points in this video, after a certain point the world and its food wouldn't excite you as much as it used to as you see more similarities around the world than differences. The same can be said when you hit a threshold in having a certain networth. Of course Aluxers would know that. :)

im from Malaysia, so far i traveled to Philippines, Singapore and Brunei. End of this year im going to thailand , after that maybe indonesia, aim for the closest first then when i have enough money then i can go far.
Japan was the best trip ever! I went to Osaka, Nara, Hiroshima, Uji, Takayma, Kyoto and Tokyo back in 2017. Being a native Floridian I got tired of palm trees, beaches, tropical drinks and wanted to see a whole different scenery and culture. I saw lots of mountains, witnessed a Japanese wedding, temples, shrines, deers, Geishas, Castles, bamboo forest and stayed in a Ryokan. It was a trip of a lifetime! 2019 I'm going to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and Lucerne. It'll be my first trip in Europe and can't wait to see different sceneries. I've been to the Bahamas 11 years ago but it was Meh(Starting to look like Miami) but when I went to New York in 2014, it changed my life! It made me open my eyes to see the world.

Well done. Your reasons are all well thought out. That said, however, I wish to recommend a particular kind of travel experience. A few years ago a German couple shipped their motor bikes to Alaska and spent the next nine months traveling from the northern end of the AlCan Highway to Argentina. I can't even begin to imagine all of the different kinds of experiences they had but I admire them those experiences because they are far more worldly than 99.99% of the people you will ever meet on an international flight.

1. Next week it will be 2. I've been traveling a lot alone within my country and after I got my passport early this year, I started booking flights abroad. My first travel abroad was very memorable since I set a budget so I really need to live with the amount of money I have. Then my phone got broken by the sea water when I got hit by a huge wave while walking by the beach alone. I had to rely on real human interactions more after my phone got broken and I met new friends. I always meet new people when traveling.
After watching this full video i just wanted to take a nap..it didn't inspired me anymore cuz' we all know we need money for travel not inspiration 😁😀😂😅

Check out volunteer programs like Workaway or WOOF! I traveled for months in central america spending less than $200/month that way

Ardi80 I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I’ve done 6 workaways and have never had to do a paper on it 😂. Bar tending, activity coordinator, sea turtle conservation...Each one is different but I’ve never heard of that before.
The pandemic and what followed with it (the lockdowns, restrictions) actually encouraged me to travel. My work came to a halt, I was pondering on where my life was heading and I became depressed. I then used all of my frustration to just go and see the world, and ever since I haven't stopped. I was tired of the fear-driven propaganda that was being perpetuated by the mainstream media that I decided to do exactly what they didn't want, traveling & living my life without fear. Best decision I ever made. Yes I was worried about money, but at the same time I believe that when you're gut is pushing you to do something you should follow through with it. Rationalise your priorities and get in order. I will be traveling to Italy next week and I cannot wait where I will be by the next month!

How can a 16 year old travel the world?
By learning how to be usefull the world while being at peace with himself and positioning himself to be on the best spot when the traveling time comes.

For me, this was the best video you made! I love to travel I have only been to 7 countries so far the most memorable one was Syria that was back in 1988 the people were very friendly and hospitable. And yes you do learn a lot by traveling.
