Can’t wait for you to get beyond it, it feels sooo good to start craving normal foods again and get your appetite back. You are such a beautiful dancer! Your lines have always been gorgeous.
Listening to you talking about your appetite is so weird for me, because I am never hungry physically but in my mind i always want to eat, even when I am not hungry, even when I am full. It's so weird how that works...
Well that means you're not eating enough balanced meals eat enough and balanced and you'll notice that your problem solved ... And enough is around 1800-2200 cals anything below isnt enough
@@y3d4u5 Thank you for this! In the last few months I have noticed that when I actually eat big and balanced meals with enough protein and a side of carbs that I am actually satisfied. I am also trying to always be doing something, so that i don't get bored and start eating out of boredom!

Don't expect to feel satisfied and stop craving junk food right after you start eating healthy and enough your body may take some time to adjust like maybe even a week or more especially if you just got out of a restrictive diet so be patient and dont focus on your weight just heal your relationship with food and everything is gonna be ok
this makes me miss ballet so much, doing it for 12 years and then stopping due to mental problems has been tough but i do miss it a lot! thank you for showing us your realistic days! 💗💗

Luna! You are such an amazing dancer! I've been following you for quite some time and your journey with body image, self love, and self acceptance as a dancer has been so inspiring to me! I also struggle with anxiety and disordered eating and often find it hard to eat when I'm anxious. Especially before morning ballet, when I struggle the most to eat, treat your food as fuel and a grounding practice. Turn off any distractions, like phone, tv, computer and with each bite say a positive affirmation to yourself ie: "I am fueling my body", "Food gives me energy", "My body is strong", or anything that speaks to your anxieties for that day. It's just nice to have a moment for yourself to reconnect and remember that you are eating to gain strength and fuel your body. I admire you and love everything that you've been doing!

I also struggled with a lot of (anxiety-induced) nausea in ED recovery which led to a lack of appetite.. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but oftentimes I find that I feel better once I start eating.. it’s hard but you have to push through the temporary discomfort (by eating regularly + sufficiently) and with time your body will start to trust you again ❤
Can I just say your so freaking beautiful? From head to toe, and from heart to brain, your absolutely stunning. Your an excellent role model for young girls like myself and help us feel powerful even when we don’t feel like it. Your a great person, Luna! And honestly take breaks and relax because we’ll be here for you as much as you for us, or we will try!

OMG ok so I watched this video when it came out but I just watched it again now. I did not even notice that those things were from the ballet core collection! But I’m a ballerina and I have lots of that and I did not even notice, THATS ballerina sence if I have ever seen it!
I had an eating disorder for a decade and I believe Luna is having the same thing happen to her that happened to me. After refeeding, my weight shot up higher than I had ever been. But after about 2 years the weight just melted off without me trying. I think it is the body stabilizing and realizing you aren't starving it anymore. Now I settled at a low set point but not too thin. I never worry about what I eat besides the fact that I know have frequent indigestion. I believe this is a result of how long I screwed up my digestive system. Consequences!
You have done so much progress !! I am no one special but since you are fully back in it I can totally see the difference! congrats keep going you are beautiful! I feel you on the not eating - I do a huel smoothie in the morning... 2 scoops with some oat milk and some ice is a nice amount of calories before I workout - and drinking a smoothie isn't as hard as making myself eat when Im not hungry for some reason.

i used to be a ballerina, for 18 years. but once college hit, my dreams of continuing dance was crushed.BUT i have gained so much weight since i was a ballerina. i fluctuate alot and honestly, balletcore can be triggering for me. i love the collection, i wouldve worn them all the time; but since gaining weight, i cannot wear skin tight clothing. i feel so insecure and i know im not the only one who doesnt feel like this trend can work for them. anyway, just wanted to say to everyone, youre not alone. we all have insecurities, we can get thru it together
