We're really going to have to sort out these corners - it's developed into a real weakness in the defence.
Hamilton got two corners and scored with one - we got fifteen corners and they never troubled Hamilton at all, in fact I think Alex Gogic cleared about a ten of them.
It's not difficult - you should know exactly who you're picking up, and make sure he can't get anything on the ball, and there should be a man on each post - schoolboy stuff.
I like Julien and Ajer, but they need to work on their concentration.
On a plus point all of the goals were fantastic - total class🍀HH

@@jackm3720 And I said exactly that on the Lennon video yesterday - it was an important win, and the goals were all excellent, but there are other things to consider - for just over 75 mins it was a very nervy affair - I had flashbacks to the Toni Macaroni a few months ago.
Obviously Hamilton were set up to frustrate, and plastic pitches do nothing for the standard of the football, but the problem we seem to have with corners wasn't limited to yesterday's game.
It shouldn't be difficult to defend corners, though clearly there will always be some that beat even a well drilled defence.
That was piss poor defending yesterday - Julien, (to his credit) even said so.
All I'm saying is that it needs addressed, or teams will look to exploit it - can't score against Celtic in open play? Try to work some corners.
I'm not one for ripping into the team - go back and look at my comments and you'd see that, and I know we're still in the midst of our most successful period since the late 60s/early 70s - still in Europe, seven points ahead and a Cup in the bag - it's all fantastic, but we've got to be honest about what we see.
I think that Ajer and Julien* do have the makings of a partnership, but there are a few things that need sorted.
Anyway, I was just making what I thought was a valid point.
*I'm not suggesting that the fault lies entirely with they two - defending set pieces requires a number of players sticking to their roles.

I often wonder what Celtic fans see when they watch James Forrest and then say she was 'missing' or 'done nothing apart from his goal' or 'he's only in the team cos he's Lennon's favorite' cleaaly these people don't know football because James Forrest is one of the most hard working and creative players we have, he's involved in just about everything that breaks down a study defence like Hamilton because he's creative and very very clever with his choice of passes. You people should actually watch this back and pay attention to him and him only then come and say some of the way off the mark stuff you say about his performances and provide proof to back up your nonsense
