      @ @jamesdriggers2011 : 5 causes of earthquakes:
      1- Volcanic eruptions
      2- Tectonic movements
      3- Geological faults
      4- Man-made, like nuclear bombing, heavy clubbing of water in dams, mining.
      5- Minor causes: landslides, collapse of heavy rocks, etc.
      When you studied geography, did you too get 💯 ? It doesn’t seem like you ever studied geography or traveled to see nature and study science for decades like I did as a hobby.

    • @jamesdriggers2011
      @jamesdriggers2011 10 днів тому +3

      @RoxanneM-
      1 happens because of 2.
      3 is the same thing as 2.
      5 wouldn't cause anything felt that widely.
      So maybe 4, but if it was an explosion, they'd probably be reporting an explosion going off, instead of just an earthquake.
      It's just common sense.

    The era of stability is in the past. Natural disasters continue to increase exponentially. They have already become a reality for hundreds of millions of people. And their consequences are worsening due to lack of timely action and ignoring the warnings that independent ALLATRA scientists have been reporting for 10 years.

    yes i knew it here in maine (midcoast area) where i live my f'n trailer started shaking weirdly, i was telling my oldest what was going one, she thought it was the wind, i go no because i have gotten 60-80 mph wind thru and my trailer barely moves...i knew it thank you for confirming my suspicion (we live in the bowdoinham) so yeah we are south of augusta. the (2nd one in my lifetime) the epicenter was like in dresden maine, felt it, went right thru my trailer, shifted it, which isn't so much leveled like it was (minor damages) and VERY LOUD. so this one will be my 3rd the first one i felt is was when i was a teen and was in freeport at that time my sisters and i were visiting our father, we were all sitting at the kitchen table playing card when the house shook. my stepmother thought it was s d warran in westbrook that blew up, nope next day we learned it was an earthquake
