Levine considers himself guitarist first, singer second. From that perspective it isn't that suprising. And I think rightly so. He has a distinctive and unique voice, but he isn't gifted otherwise.

I watched it last night and was compelled to watch it again today. When Prince performed in honor of George Harrison, I had the same reaction. Thank you for honoring Prince in a way that he deserved.
