Bed is now simple but elegant! Have you considered Capless Fuel Filler Neck / Cap Conversion? It’ll be cool if you didn’t even have to mess with the door and he just had a small hole in the side of the bed.
I have a different plan for the filler neck that I may use a Capless fuel filler neck for. No door in the bed or the side of the bed! I didn't do all the bed work to just ugly it up with a fuel door!

Alot of people use the Crown Vic Frame from what I've seen, easy to come by but still loads of work. I cant wait to see the progress!
