Bali Indonesia "Cost of Living"

  • Have you dreamt of living the millionaire vacation lifestyle but found that a bit difficult to afford? Bali, Indonesia provides that for the regular folks like us!
The amazing villa I rented in Bali was $288 a night on Airbnb; a similar place would go for more like $2000 a night in Miami! If you're there with two friends, that's only $100 a night. The place had plenty of space for four people, so you could even get your costs down to $50 per night. Unreal.
I recently spent two weeks filming in Bali, Indonesia. I decided to break down my whole trip cost versus what a similar trip would cost in Miami.
I love Bali for more than just being an affordable tropical destination. There is so much rich culture to experience and good energy to absorb.
I have had the luxury of spending up to six months to a year on the island of Bali. I know quite a bit about the different destinations in Bali. I've created a guide for you to download so you can get the details on all the places I visited throughout the video, giving you a head start on planning an epic Bali adventure.
    Check our Bali Guide here:
    www.passporthea...
Here's a quick idea of what's in store...
    The Airbnbs consisted of:
    Villa Amanie | Uluwatu

    Villa Vayana | Canggu | IG @villavayana www.airbnb.co....
Villa Rembulan | Gili Trawangan | IG @villarembulan

We also had some friends stay at the Golden Tulip while visiting in Uluwatu.
Make sure to visit The Lawn beach club | IG @thelawncanggu

Potato Head | IG @potatoheadbali while in the Canggu area

You can get a small villa or at least a great massage at the Bali Dream in Canggu.

While on Gili T, we feasted at The Roast House, and got some amazing shots at The Exile | IG @theexilegili
I hope you enjoy Bali as much as we all did. Make sure you download the guide!

I'm Indonesian and those price you tell are the price for tourists haha, it's cheaper for Indonesians. But i think if you travel to a poorer country, you should not mind a little more fee especially if you buy/ make purchase of goods or service from locals.

Hey bro! Im an Australian, I've been to Bali several times, as someone who has been there many times also, you would have notice a lot of Aussie's. We love the place!!
The love I have for Bali has resulted in me UA-caming a lot on Bali, and I gotta say this would have to be the BEST UA-cam video I've seen. I was shocked to see you only had 880,000 views subscribers. The directing of this video is 10/10. I've seen travel UA-cam videos with ten times as many view and they weren't half as good as yours.
Keep living and sharing your dream bro...

I'm a Floridian and I love both Bali and Miami. I would not compare them, but for any people who have never been to Bali (or even Miami) they deserve to know everything in your video. Your video has done a great job of introducing the island to outsiders, and giving a realistic idea about prices and activities there. There are really so many excellent places to stay, and they are such good values. Miami is expensive There is so much to say about the island, the people and the culture. Ubud is great too. There's an Aussie with a vegan restaurant there that had amazing food. I think it's called the Blue Elephant. (Potato Head can get to capacity fast, but the sunset and vibe are unforgettable!)

I'm from indonesia and if you want to come to Bali, always consider bargaining the cost of anything you got from any local seller. Just tell them that you know the price cuz you've been there before so, its not your first time in Bali. This works especially for: rent surfboard, traditional market/store without brand, coffee shop/restaurant/cafe souvenir/merch, driver/scooter/ojek (except: taxi, watch the meter), traditional parking nonsense, and anything without a fixed price/metering/price list menu/price tag. i hope you find it useful, thanks for visiting my country. gbu

This is possibly the best travel video I have ever seen. Editing is on point, information is also relevant and accurate (having spent a bit of time there myself I recognize a lot of what he is talking about), and finally the music and the vibe that the presenter brings is top class. Bali is such a great spot and deserves on point tourist/ temporary resident generated content like this to promote it.

Dont wait man. I started my first business at 20 and blew past my first $1m/rev year when I turned 25. Now I'm living the dream like you wouldn't believe. If you wait till you're 30 you'll completely miss the opportunity to be young and successful. Start that shit now .

KVS Would you go to a country that's committing genocide against native people of the land? Before you go to Bali, research the genocide that the Indonesian government is committing. They won't let media/journalists to enter Indonesia with the intent to report the human rights violation their committing, which is why no one ever hears about it.

If I were to express what I felt after I saw this video, well its a one word answer to begin ..... "AWESOME". Very very well explained ... very well shot by the person behind the camera and I cannot leave without a mention about the great details provided... be it accommodation, food, activities, cultural life, night life, services at villas.... I guess, you covered it all in a beautiful way. I am from India and I have never visited Bali.... but one thing is for sure.... now, after seeing this video, I will definitely plan a trip. Thank you so so so much.... for the video and very importantly the links in the description for reference. I loved the way so much attention has been paid to details...... its truly "AWESOME". Thank you once again.

i'm Indonesian, lives in Jakarta. pick a hotel nears Shopping centre or a mall in Jakarta. because there are a lot of people from out of town who work here and not speaking english fluently, so mall is a good choice in jakarta. Bali is tourism spot, that is why most of them understand english better than Jakarta. have fun in our country.
