I bought mine Ibanez sr300wb two years ago. I'm very satisfied. Especially the thin neck is something I appreciate very much. It makes it way faster, when needed.
anybody know the difference between the 300E and the 300EB? they cost the same, built with the same materials, same measurements, hardware, EQ, etc.
I believe the “B” just means black hardware, thats the only difference I have noticed

Wow!! You can get SO MANY different tones from just the bass guitar itself! then you can adjust it even more with your amp EQ.. or maybe not at all! i really dig the Golden Veil Matte. it's available is SO MANY COLOR'S!!
Got a 2017 model (SR300E) in 2021 at a great price of £95 S/H.. The guy wasn't sure if the preamp worked (no 9v battery). Thing is, it looks so elegant & harmless sitting on a hook in our hallway, next to Squier 60s Vibe Jazz & Warwick Rockbass, but to play it...?

Ive owned an Aria Pro II, a Squier Precision, Yamaha, still got those two mentioned, plus an Epiphone T'bird, hand an Ibanez SR300Pw, Ibanez Ergodyne EDB500, Ibanez SR305, Squier Jazz V 5string and NONE have been quite so satisfying or versatile to play as this. Okay, the Warwick, T'bird & 60s Vibe are great sounding instruments, but I would take an SR300E(B) all day long for the all round playability. 😊
In fact, at the time of posting this, Im rather taken to the SR300EB in Candyapple Red & might trade in my Jazz 5string for it.

Yes it does perfectly. I bought this Bass 8 months ago and i got RotoSound Drop zone Bass Strings 130-65 with custom made Maxles Bass Driver pedal that has sexiest presence tone isntead of middle EQ and sound amazing. 😎

i think it sounds pretty good in that opening song! i'm going to get one and put on thicker strings to tune it down to B. & probably will have to take it to a shop to fit it and fit the intonation.
