Zaid and ambiga, there is a need to curb the influences of extreme politics based on religion and race from one front. And you guys who represent Liberal and civil society should be more understand and support the current government and help them to gain the malay support and eventually by God's grace the government will be able to steer the course of the country towards a more democratic, Liberal and fair society which most of the non malay aspire. Ambiga is wrong to say that anwar is the worst PM of all times. You forgot how the non malays suffered under mahathir, najib, and muhiddin. The authors of the constitution never intended for any one party to hold simple majority let alone a single coalition get multiple absolute majority like BN did. The end result was arrogant and entitled politicians who believed they were absolute monarchs.
Not everyone will not like what I will say but in democracy the majority makes the decision, when the majority decides even if it does not make everyone happy .
