Kue Lapis Tenun Polkadot [Indonesian Layered Cake With English Subtitle]

LAYERED CAKE IN WEAVING MOTIF
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENT A:
350 gr Sugar [If you like sweet taste, add about 100-200 gr more]
3-5 pandan leaves tied to a knot. [It can be replaced with ½ tsp of vanilla powder]
½ tsp of fine or coarse salt
1, 7 Liters of fresh coconut milk. [This coconut milk is obtained from the juice of 1½ coconuts or equivalent to 750 gr]
INGREDIENT B:
2 tbsp white lime paste water
350 gr Tapioca starch
350 gr All-Purpose Flour
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
2 pcs of pan size 18 x 18 cm height 7 cm. [This is intentionally using 2 pans to make it more efficient, we’ll see next]
4 pcs medium size bowl for the motif batter
1 measuring cup
4 pcs plastic bottles with a pointed mouth to line the motif batter
Cookies Cutter with a shape to taste ... to make the motif of the top and bottom layer
1 pcs large bowl for basic-white batter
FOR COLORING: Use good quality food coloring to make it bright and solid. The choice of colors is according to taste.

3-5 lembar daun pandan diikat simpul, daun pandan bisa diganti dg ½ sdt bubuk vanili
½ sdt garam halus atau kasar
1, 7 Liter Santan Segar. Santan ini didapat dari perasan 1 ½ kelapa yang diparut atau setara dengan 750 gr daging kelapa parut
UNTUK BAHAN B:
2 sdm Air kapur sirih
350 gr Tepung tapioka atau kanji
350 gr Tepung terigu
ALAT-ALAT DAN PERLENGKAPAN:
2 buah Loyang Lapis ukuran 18 x 18 cm tinggi 7 cm
4 pcs mangkok ukuran sedang untuk wadah adonan motif
1 Buah gelas takar
4 pcs botol plastik dengan mulut runcing
Cookies Cutter dengan bentuk sesuai selera
1 pcs mangkok ukuran besar untuk adonan dasar warna putih
