I agree. I just found her today and love her original works. Wrecking Ball is a cover what do you want? She has the talent to do original work and she should stick to it. IMO. I love to see ppl do original work it makes all the difference.

I have a thing or two to say on this subject... I first discovered this AWESOME young girl when a friend of mine shared her "His Daughter" with me, & I then listened to her many other songs... Molly sweetie, if you have a chance to read this post you just remember this, DON'T YOU DARE LET NEGATIVE PEOPLE EVER GET THE BEST OF YOU !!! You have a God-given talent, & while everyone can practice what they do & improve certain aspects of what they do, YOU ARE MORE THAN ON YOUR WAY !!! You have been a HUGE inspiration to me & many many many others, & you must keep sharing that talent & those people who have been so mean & negative in there comments will still be doing NOTHING when you are laughing all the way to the bank & the awards shows etc. I see in your future... You let God deal with their negativity... This all comes from a mom who would give the same encouragement to any of my own kids... One suggestion, I must say I was a wee bit surprised to see you do the Miley Cyrus cover when I heard a lot of what else you have done, BUT, that said, I think it was done MORE BEAUTIFULLY than the original, (& before anyone asks, no I am not related to Molly, I just LOVE hearing & encouraging GREAT talent) Anyway, my suggestion is if you would consider any covers for any of Avril Lavigne's songs? Specifically Sk8 Boi, Complicated, I'm With You or Things I'll Never Say? I think you could pull off ANY of those WONDERFULLY, & would LOVE to hear you do them... I love your unique voice. It's not just like cookie cutter popstar. Wow, you're very very good. Like, this song could totally be bombed, but you hit the notes so perfectly and with your own twist. Great lighting too
This young lady is talented...and even a better writer... The problem here is the audio engineering/mixing, not her voice. Most of you commenting with the negativity and immature remarks would know nada about that though...

Everyone has to realize she does all her songs without a microphone or any proper recording gear and still sounds amazing so stop if you don't like it don't listen to it and most definitely don't go out of your ways to put her down.

With the right coaching you can be even better. You have a nice voice it will target country music lovers but if you could change it up with an R and B sound the sky would be the limit. Dont limit yourself. Look at Alicia Keys great with the keys and nice voice country sound with R and B. Keep up the good work cant wait to see you blow up.
I actually like this song and some of other Miley. I don't think she is that bad, just young, a little confused, hopefully she will get better, I think there's a good person inside of all of us. Anyway, I do like Miley's version and I think Molly's is very nice too, I still, even though I don't remember much, think Molly would give it more of an Evanesence air to it, but maybe I am saying something crazy here. Anyway, love to see that Molly's starting her improvised video making, pretty soon we will see professional videos of her, and then she'll be on tour...

I agree with Megan. Molly already is something, a very amazing something. I'll admit this cover isn't her greatest, but she's a wonderful singer and has much more going for her than most young singers now a days. Her original songs are wonderful, and she is amazing at writing music aswell. You should watch one of her original pieces before you judge her.
I have watched all of them... Or as many as I could handle at least. All the others I watched were originals. With some training she could be pretty good. I hope she keeps practicing.

I think she has a great opportunity to take her talent so much further. Miley destroyed this song by being naked. Molly is showing its not needed. The twang is in her voice because of where she is from, cuz her a break. Alan, you have to understand this young lady is just "singing". Her sound is raw, powerful, and extremely talented. However, it is not produced at all. Completely natural. Let's hear Miley Cyrus or even Taylor Swift come out and play piano or guitar with a cheapo mic and sing their hits. I think without the over production of today's voices, you will then have a better appreciation for just how talented this young lady truly is.
