I just lost someone, a few days before thanksgiving, and this song made me ball my eyes out all over again. My teacher, Lisa Kaplan, had just given birth to hit first baby when she was diagnosed, and after 4 months, she passed away. My aunt, who is my best friend, also has had cancer for 2 years. She was given 2 months to live and she's still here now. I just wish she could have given Lisa some of her luck... Thank you so much for this. ❤️

I lost my mother to cancer 11yrs ago..she died in my arms. She was my best friend and I miss her so so much! Some days are better than others though..this time of year is when I miss her most. She was only 49yrs young and lost her battle on the 20th of last month only after finding out 1.5 months she had it. A family friend of mine went to the hospital 3 days ago because of Pancreas Cancer. He wanted to see his son graduate, then he wanted to him go through football season. my grandmother died of cancer in April, after finding out she had cancer in February she passed very quickly, she was like my mother as she had me most often, when people hear grandmother they think of age my grandmother was 57, she is my guardian angel today and the memory of her will live in me forever.

I've lost my grandfather &2 uncles to cancer. i currently have an aunt fighting it & its the worst trying to be strong & not cry of sadness infront of them especially when they act like everything is fine but little do we know they're not only dying outside but on the inside too ,not only from the pain but also because theyre probably more scared then us to lose their life. rip everyone whos lost a battle & prayers to those who continue to fight.

Molly you are amazing singer and I mean this all the songs that you write touch me the way nothing has in a very long time, I'm only 10 but I understand a lot more than you think. cancer is a hard thing to go through with your family, my great aunt died from it and my family was broken for many weeks maybe months. please keep singing it touches people in places that they can only see
I lost a very close family friend to cancer not even a year ago, she was only in her late 30s and she had two girls and a husband. She was just finishing school to become a nurse when she found out she had liver cancer.. She always made the effort to come to all of my volleyball games even though she was weak. She always said she was proud of me even when I sat the bench the whole game. A couple months before she passed away I was messaging her and her last message to me was "I love your smile; it brightens the room and makes others smile too! I am proud of you and only wish you the best!!" To this day I still can't believe she is gone she came to every event we hosted and she was the one that brightened the room. I miss her so much, her girls are so strong. I tell them that everyday I see them. She passed away before experiencing anything with her daughters. One of her daughters is a freshman and she asked me to go dress shopping with her and I said yes of course. On our last store, she was looked down and so I went up to her and asked her what was wrong and she looked at me and said "I miss my mom" and she started crying. I held her and told her "she is with us, trust me... I know" This song reminded me of her and I thank you for this.

To all those out there who have lost a loved one cuz of any sickness or accidents, etc. It must've been difficult for you. I am not sure how you guys/gals feel cuz I never lost a loved one yet. I've lost my grandfather &2 uncles to cancer. i currently have an aunt fighting it & its the worst trying to be strong & not cry of sadness infront of them especially when they act like everything is fine but little do we know they're not only dying outside but on the inside too ,not only from the pain but also because theyre probably more scared then us to lose their life. rip everyone whos lost a battle & prayers to those who continue to fight.
No one really close to me has died of cancer but I do know people that have this song song also makes me think of close people that have passed away. Great lyrics xx

This song is beautiful and brought me to tears. I lost my mom to cancer in 2002 and have lost numerous other family members since. I have friends who have family which have been diagnosed with cancer recently and I know the pain they are going through and its almost as if I'm losing my mom all over again.

I've had hydrocephalus ( water on the brain) since birth. What a great song for anyone suffering from any long term illness. My favorite singer/songwriter by far. Keep it up. Me and my mom listened to "His Daughter" and she broke down cause it hit home for us both. You have a gift.

Molly you are amazing singer and I mean this all the songs that you write touch me the way nothing has in a very long time, I'm only 10 but I understand a lot more than you think. cancer is a hard thing to go through with your family, my great aunt died from it and my family was broken for many weeks maybe months. please keep singing it touches people in places that they can only see
My mother was taken from me in 2004 when I was five years old due to cancer. Thank you so much for this.
I lost a very close family friend to cancer not even a year ago, she was only in her late 30s and she had two girls and a husband. She was just finishing school to become a nurse when she found out she had liver cancer.. She always made the effort to come to all of my volleyball games even though she was weak. She always said she was proud of me even when I sat the bench the whole game. A couple months before she passed away I was messaging her and her last message to me was "I love your smile; it brightens the room and makes others smile too! I am proud of you and only wish you the best!!" To this day I still can't believe she is gone she came to every event we hosted and she was the one that brightened the room. I miss her so much, her girls are so strong. I tell them that everyday I see them. She passed away before experiencing anything with her daughters. One of her daughters is a freshman and she asked me to go dress shopping with her and I said yes of course. On our last store, she was looked down and so I went up to her and asked her what was wrong and she looked at me and said "I miss my mom" and she started crying. I held her and told her "she is with us, trust me... I know"

To all those out there who have lost a loved one cuz of any sickness or accidents, etc. It must've been difficult for you. I am not sure how you guys/gals feel cuz I never lost a loved one yet. Just stand strong and ask God for the guidance. Honestly with God you can fight through anything.

So beautiful. Absolutely touching. I'm so sorry for your loss, and anyone else who has lost a loved one to cancer. Life is so precious, you don't always realize how lucky you are to be alive every single day until something so serious happens and it's just a reminder that we all have to have that day where it's our time to go. But cancer, and kids.... That's just so sad and I wish there was more we could do for them so they could at least have a chance to live their life. To grow up, experience things. I'm so sorry again, this song was really emotional and I totally felt it, through the words and through the vocals
