The insurance can be very expensive though. You have to pay on a monthly basis and for the standard plan it can range between $175 to over 400 CI. So even though you do not pay the monies to the hospital you pay it in insurance 😅
Hi. I got offered a job in CI and I haven't answered them if I'd be accepting the job or not. we just got married 6 months ago and we're planning to start a family next year in 2025. The company is sponsoring a dependant visa for my wife, salary offered between 70-72k USD. Do you think that's a good deal, and can I afford to support the pregnancy appointments, delivery etc for my wife? Or should we fly back to our home country to delivery the baby, and will the company allow paternity leave or paid leave for the delivery? I'm guessing, with the bi-weekly appointments etc, it's not convenient to fly back, unless she goes by herself and I continue to work in CI until the delivery. Any suggestion and advise is very much appreciated. Thanks

Hello friends, how are you?😊
Hey fam!
Very informative, the price is not bad considering insurance pay majority. Here in Jamaica, with insurance you pay more still at a private hospital

I know that the cost to have a baby is expensive everywhere! But are costs quoted comparable to where you are from?
Very informative video
That 9,000 was robbery
Did the hospital give you anything for the baby after delivery?
No.The first time around I got a robe for myself though, lol.The second time the robe nothing at all.
