I also modded my stock VP9 with the HK VP9 L complete slide (suppressor height sights & optic plate) and attached a Vortex Venom red dot. This made a great pistol just a little bit better. Now, I can swap the optic-equipped L version with the standard version in under 10 seconds. Perfect.
I have that exact model Canik Rival SFx - love it. Not able to experience the H&K unless I buy one relatively blind. The only retailers in my area mandate trigger locks on all display guns so you really can't tell squat about them beyond the general feel of the grips. Too bad, because I have been tempted by the H&K products. One cannot question the technical and material quality of H&K products.
08:05 the fact that you can shoot better as a gun you've used for years says a lot about how good Canik is!
2 excellent pistols that I own as well. I enjoy shooting both and have really no major complaints with either. Great choices!

Canik is hot and gaining ground fast, but HK's durability is Legendary. Imagine an HK with a Canik trigger.

Arkansas is an HK guy. Hope there is a bias here being a VP9 owner
not even a close call. HKVP9L is a better pistol.
