We decorate the Easter table with bunches of tulips , chocolate eggs, colourful napkins and a little white rabbit I have had for decades. Otherwise, no Easter decor.

I decorate for Lent.
I have one Easter bunny I put on my dining table, and a colored egg wreath for putting on the front door each year. I also have two decorations that were my mom's; I will put them out this year and decide whether to keep or donate them.

I went into the attic this morning and I brought out a box and went through it in another room. Our attic is a black hole of 30 years of kids stuff. It’s painful but freeing to face it. Thank you for your rah rah rah,

I'm always amazed how much I can get done in 10 mins when I listen to you - dry washing put away, wet washing put to dry, beds made, clothes tidied away, bins emptied! Thank you ❤

I love the idea of having little Easter ornaments to hang on branches, and then composting the branches after and not needing to store anything big!
I very much enjoy your ad free content and efforts to help us stay on track. Hubby and I decluttered 32 lbs of old papers/old tax docs and two boxes, an old TV wall frame, and misc electronics boxes/packaging. woo hoo

Instead of decluttering today, I chose to crochet while listening to you. I struggle to find time to crochet. So a little bit of hygge for me while you went through your Easter stuff. You remind me of myself when I go through things. I love thinking/talking about how and why I have something. It is a joy to remember those things.

Loved this declutter! I'm noticing that when you are constantly going through and reviewing items you also get to relive the memories outside of the season you display them. You also get prepared for the next season so decorating can be enjoyable, rather than a decluttering mission :)!
I really LOVE this decluttering video because you incorporate sentimental items, paper crafts and inherited items into your Easter decor. Last year, I started small Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras, St Patrick's Day and Easter displays using inherited items (Easter), souvenirs I collected (Mardi Gras), or something I found in the newspaper and framed (St Pat's). I illuminate my displays with string lights and find that it really helps me chase away the winter blahs.
I'm enjoying looking through boxes that I haven't looked through in awhile. I'm finding things now have a home, need or a place in the recycling bin. I also finished decluttering the kitchen cabinets by using items close to expiration.
I'm digging up a few daffodils to put in a pretty pot in the kitchen before the big snowstorm comes tomorrow!
Makes me want to start collecting Easter decorations! Hmmm 🤔

The idea of taking the box of things for a declutterring assessment to a “safe” room is magic. I know you’ve said it before but it allows you to declutter and feel like you accomplished something without getting overwhelmed. Genius!
"This one gets to stay...for now..." I love this and totally agree. It helps to back through areas over time (6 mos, 1 yr), revisit, let go a little more. And WOW! Those sweet easter eggs your dearly departed mother-in-law made for your nuptials.
Decluttered for 10 min from a cabinet of containers and a bathroom cabinet.. so much space now! Love it
After watching last week's decluttering I cleaned up two kitchen cabinet shelves that I previously had been jamming things into and holding them back from toppling. Your video clarified the thought process for me and removed the mystery. I was amazed and happy with the result. Afterward I kept going back and peeking inside to enjoy my handiwork. It did take longer than 10 minutes, but I think I'll get faster with practice. Today's video is encouraging me to continue. Thank you.
Decorations! I had many holiday decorations that I displayed and shared with my kids when they were young. I made some major life changes in 2021 (new relationship, retirement, and move to another state). I did a major decluttering in in 2021. Now I miss some of my holiday family decorations. It was tough deciding what to keep and what I could take in my limited space. After much “self-reflection”, I am moving forward with adding a few new (1-2 items per holiday) decorations that are significant to my present lifestyle. I’m practicing living in the moment. My memories (and pictures) will help me remember the family times as I add new happy memories in my new life as a retired empty nester who has started a new exciting chapter of her life ( the final third😉).
I'm enjoying the 10 minute declutter sessions. They give me inspiration. Today I decluttered my papers in the study. Got rid of a waste-paper bin full! Thankyou Diane for continuing to inspire! 😊
My youngest was so obsessed with decorating for every season/ holiday that I have as many spring decorations as Christmas ones 😄 She took her favourites with her when she moved out, so this is the year to pare the rest down. Thank you for the inspiration!

I decluttered my nail polish yesterday and today helped hubby clean our small place for the week.
I’m in the US and Valentine’s is big here. I’m hosting a Galantine’s Day get together. Your motivation and encouragement has made cleaning up the house for guests so much easier. Thank you! Normally, my anxiety would be through through the roof at the thought of having guests over.

This is so so helpful! I really struggled with decluttering daily when I started FlyLady in 2023. These guided by zone are just so helpful. I got the donatable donation bag and some clothes I found made it to the charity shop the same day! Amazing! and I got through the worktop counter down there where everything got dumped for ages. Tools - garden items, home decor no on for the holiday - it was batty!

No basement, no garage, no attic, but oh, that little back room! Spent some time scanning it and identifying a number of areas to work on. Then decluttered two bookcase shelves that had mysteriously grown a collection of binders, file folders and the like. So a start….

I've decluttered much of my seasonal decor...I finally realized I wasn't enjoying it but felt I had to do it. Its wonderful to have and display if you enjoy it and if you don't, its not necessary. We have a small collection of decor and I love it!

Every time I watch you Diane I learn another brilliant idea! Today was the idea of moving the mess (dark gloomy closet) to another part of the house (sunny cheerful room) and then go through it all. I was able to de clutter and reorganize the worst disaster shelf in just 10” Yay!! Thank you to my favorite UA-camr!!

I don't have that many Easter decorations. Instead I decluttered our bulbs (hyacinths, grape hyacinths, crocuses). They are blooming, in the little 'spring spot' I created, in the windowsill. I removed the empty ones. Dankjewel voor de inspiratie!

I put a few natural branches into a vase and hang Easter decorations on them. Your video made me want to knit a bunny to add to my display!
I think your father in law's bunnies are lovely. I agree with giving away silver eggs. I see now that you would be a great teacher now that I know you were one. Yellow eggs lovely. I did my cleaning in basement just now as I wait for second spin on my laundry. Prepared a bag for donations. Put items on my husband's side of cellar for him to deal with. Always amazes me how quickly the seasons go in places with four seasons. The start of our dry season always feels like Spring to me, but that’s weeks and weeks away - monsoonal rain today.

Did a PUPA on the main floor and put out all the Valentines decorations as it is my DH66th birthday on Wednesday. Table and chandelier looks great. Watched it 3 times 😊Thanks Diane for keeping me company.

I have about 4 easter decorations for inside. A wooden rabbit, a nice light blue-white tablecloth with rabbits, a green sisal butterfly for the wall and about 20 colorful plastic eggs for outside to hang on the front tree. Plus all the things my girl made in the last years....
How lovely to decorate with such beautiful things at Easter! My parents always did-they are Italian and Easter is a big deal there too. Love all the Danish traditions also. You have definitely inspired to make some new things this year for when my lovely kids come home from University for the holidays. Hello Diane, I don’t have as many Easter decorations as you but I do have an ornamental tree that I hang eggs from. This week I will be decluttering cardboard boxes and packing that I keep ‘just in case’. Don’t need as many as I’ve got, they just take up so much room! I use to decorate a lot, but now I just put out a few things. It's just me. Most family have passed and others to far away.we just send cards.i decluttered almost expired and ordered other vitamins in my box. It's been a busy week. Just now catching up on this weeks 3 videos. I'm actually watching while I stir Risotto for Sunday lunch.
I did monthly decorating for years. Last year I finally admitted I was only doing it in my mind (my fantasy self), as it had gotten to difficult.
I did a huge decluttering. I bought matching much smaller totes of higher quality that I could easily lift by myself.
Bingo!! I started decorating again as I could have it all done in less than 10 minutes.
So here in States I will celebrate St. Patrick's Day next after Valentines.

In the US there is an emphasis now on buying decor. I find your Danish keepsakes refreshing, and even my mom would be in awe of your holiday tables. An inspiration to keep and do what is meaningful! …In the dank unfinished part of the basement today in the laundry and canned food pantry. Remarkable what gets done when we do a job with friends! Also, remarkable the amount of perma-dust that lives against the cement block walls! 😮

Sorted through the sheet music in the bench next to the piano downstairs-- some 100 years old! Original publications. We inherited it when we bought the piano from the previous homeowner in 1992 when we moved in. (He was born around 1910.) Kept a couple, but the rest was dropped off for my daughter-- she & her boyfriend are enjoying learning to play.

I decorate for Easter but it’s changed over the years. Now the children are all grown it’s more muted colours that match my home decor better than bright yellows etc.
I’ve also kept some of my children’s artwork. Thank you for showing us yours x
