In midst of ls3 swapping my 87 iroc, great inspiration you put out, first third gen hood louver install mod with under hood insulation installed👍,super clean, great attention to detail, good luck on your ventures.
Thanks you'll love the LS3 it's a great platform. One thing I've learned doing the swap is it definitely pays off to spend a little extra time on all the little details. Good luck on the build.

So I need to get my 1987 L98 5.7L TPI and swapped in T56. I need to wire up the T56 to work the reverse lights / lockout/ and Speedo. Eventually, the L98 will be gone. But someone put a lot of money in go fast parts and it is fresh. She is rowdy!
Great build with a lot of great ideas for my build im working on now. Great job! I noticed you have your coolant bottle tucked on passenger side. Can you give more details on what bottle and how you mounted it?
Cooling fans aren’t always the issue, it can be too small radiator,or air in the system, and not bled correctly,or a bleeder isn’t installed or higher than the t-stat..

Hey thanks I've thought about it. I've seen another youtuber named @3rd gen guy running something similar. But have my eye on boost first I've been itching to go forced induction.
This is an incredible build. Can you tell me what brand wheels are you running, size and offsets front and back? Also what tire size on the front? Thanks!
Hello forgive me I’m just finding ur account. Just subscribed!! I’m in the west coast with an 88 5.3 Trans Am excited to get tips and see ur old and new videos !!! Beautiful car man !!!!
Any interest in doing it again? My 3rd gen was a magazine cover car but has never ran right with the LT1 swap and has been sitting for 10 years. Would like a clean LS swap done but finding someone to do it is hard.
I recently bought a 1985 camaro v6 manual 5 speed. I'm wanting to upgrade my car to a nice daily driver but still have some kick in it. I'm new at LS swaps and I usually like the classical sides of things, but I wouldn't mind going into the LS swap route, I just want something that is going to be decent on gas but will still be decently fast and sound nice as well. I like the idea of having a modern 4 cylinder. But I can deal with v6s if needed. I feel lost, I'm not sure where to start or where to look. I love that you have upgraded a lot of things on this car though, I will for sure use everything you have mentioned as a primary reference. I was just wondering if you, or any of your subs had any advice for me.
@@Brandon-LSX I understand that they are reliable. but in any way could they more fuel efficient? I'm trying to have a good preforming setup and get great gas millage.
Nice Camaro I had a 1991 Rs red got in trouble back in 90s I raced stock 5.0 stangs aka Foxbody they weren't pulling away I was right next 2 them even beat some had 305 if only I had an engine like that
I’m seriously considering purchasing my father in law 85 iroc z with the 305 and 700r4. My intention would be to LS1 and T56 swap it with a black paint job. There is some sentimental value in the car itself compared to any other Camaro/firebird out there… but is this swap worth it for the $$
I'm in the middle of swapping my 85 trans am how did you go about the wiring for the headlights and turn signals where you able to keep the factory system for that and what about the wipers is it just a matter of running power to something
Did you have to have this tuned to get to run as good as it does or is it all the self learn? Looking at getting the FiTech system for my 6.0 el camino
Thank you for your videos. Which drive accessory style are you using? I have low mount alternator like yours with GTO mounting and have interference between the pitman arm of the steering box and alternator in certain steering angles. Any info you can share would be appreciated
Can you send me some information about everything that you put in your car I have a 3rd Gen. That I'm doing and I'm really interested in the parks that you eat
I've been looking at moving up to 17 or 18 inch wheels. If you don't mind me asking, but what offset are you running for 10.5 wide wheels? I currently have 15 inch that have 3.75 backspacing and not wanting that much wheel/tire sticking out when moving up in wheel size?
I’m pretty interested in how you got the low mount AC compressor to fit! I have been contemplating pulling the engine out of my C5 which has the low mount ac, and slapping that in my third gen. Was curious if it would fit and that would definitely be beneficial to my decision!
How do you like the Fitech system? I've been hearing different things about it vs Holley but I've watch all your videos and it seems like it's running well for you ...
Nice car man. Quick question: what do you think is the best tire size for daily driving on the stock 16" rims? I can't find the recommended 235/55/16 anywhere.
There's a tire size calculator that will help you dial in sizes. I prefer a wider tire for grip but as a daily would probably best best closer to stock size.

@@datboired832 Sounds like you've got the truck style serpentine belt setup if the alternatori s up high. ICT billet sales a low mount alternator bracket system to run the alternator down low like the factory LS1 setup that's what I'm running with mine.
There is 2 rubber stops that you can turn in underneath the hood. Try those first otherwise you well need to make more adjustments with the hood hinges.

How did you fit the 295 in the back
Cut the bump stops off and boxed in spring perch.
Why do you run a single tip instead of dual exhaust?
To hard to run duals on a 3rd gen and keep ground clearance. The 4inch tucks up really nice and and still go over a speed bumps.
You should of cleaned the under carriage better the floor boards have a bunch of build up on them, I cleaned mine and had them repainted
What rear end are you running?
How much does it cost to build the camaro with the ls3?
10-20k
Does the ls transmission fit in there without modification
Had to trim off 1 inch in tunnel.
What did you end up using for the fuel system?
Aeromotive 340 intank pump
