Cool video but I would have liked to see him play 18 before and play 18 after. Getting good on the range doesn’t always translate to lower scores on the course.
Great concept though and badass for Zach for putting in the work!
Some real causes on that right hand. That is some dedication. Thrilled about his improvement!
I hope this becomes a trend in the UA-cam golf community. Such a cool experiment! Great work Zach!
I love this type of content! Awesome video!!!! Keep up the good work guys!
Just got done with my 30 days. I’m right handed, and my right wrist has some pain. Otherwise prior to starting I could make solid contact 20% of the time.
Now I make solid contact 98% of the time. Can confidently hit every club in my bag now.
Can place my shots where I want most of the time.
Learned some shot shaping.
Still struggle with accidentally drawing or fading the ball off target.
Still struggle with farting and thinning the ball.
Oh also my grip was so messed up at first. I had to wear 2 gloves from all the blisters. Now my grip is dialed in and don’t need 2 gloves lol
We're you self taught or did you have someone help you in person?
Farting and thinning?! That doesn’t sound good for you or your playing partners lol
Great video! Ball striking and consistency are key to getting better. Proved in this video.
Way to go Zach! You could swing get better as time went by!
Incredible video idea, it was inspiring to watch. Great work
Thank you Andy!
Awsome video, love watching your stuff but this was the most interesting! Inspiring stuff Zach
Thanks Edward!
Ok I definitely need to do this challenge in the new year for my project when the sim is set up in the new house. Keep winter rust off and get better.
I can't wait for the next challenge!
Atta boy! swing defiantly improved
Very cool idea. I think where I saw the clear improvement was in the rotation. Zach was rotating thru the ball much better after 30 days
Great feedback Tony! Thank you 🙏
Great video. Appreciate the work. I did the Hank Haney program where I took 100 swings a day (no golf ball though) with 50 swings right handed and 50 left handed. I did see improvement.
Thank you!
Look up Moe Norman who use to hit 800 balls a day in his early years and never wore a glove. His hand formed a pretty gnarled looking callus. The amount of balls he hit made him one of the best ball strikers in golf history.
Such a cool video! I liked the fact you had other people in the Industry throw their 2 cents in. Seems promising! My turn!
Repetition is good to help you groove in your swing. However, it'll groove bad just as well as good. I'd suggest hitting balls until you hit the first 'bad' swing. Then back off for 5 minutes, and start back. Again, hit until you make a bad swing. Wait 5 minutes, correct the swing, and start again. Also, you'll find that it's easier to swing wrong, than it is to swing right. JM2C
Absolutely brilliant video 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Dave! Big sacrifice by Zach 👏🏼👏🏼- he worked hard!
Great video, I miss Spook Rock and NY
As he went, his body started to get so much more fluid with his swing than when he started! Naturally
Saw darlington and Patriot hills ranges. I play darlington a lot and just played pat hills. Sick
Sprinkle in some spook rock!
Zach great job 🎉
Yes it does
Let's go Zach!!
🤘🏼
Generally there's a challenge bringing it to the course. Curious how the combine translated to a round(s)?
Way to go Zach keep it up and you will better then those 2 hahaha
Very interesting Experiment. Maybe the next one should be divided in the ratio of the clubs he plays in a average round .Lots of stats can then be calculated. Well done Zach.
Hey guys start looking for a new cameraman.
Looks like an overuse injury waiting to happen! But, it’s probably because I’m 55. 😅
Haha! Zach’s a young athletic dude; but he did feel the pain at times!
@@Golficity ahhhh, youth. I wonder if his improvement was from the high reps or the combine giving his range sessions more focus? Keep up the great videos.
Liked the challenge do one with all of you trying with a coach see who gets most improved
That's actually coming soon Peter
Frank and Mike should do this challenge as well😂
LETS GO!!!!!
Goes to show hard work pays off. Now we need a 3 man scramble with Zach and see how does on the course.
You need to hit the chiropractor once a week , at least every other week .
I don’t really believe the handicap thing If I was taking swings like that on the course I would say like a 4 or 6 handicap because I slice my driver every single drive and still have a 15.5 handicap right now
Would’ve rather saw a comparison in a round from the start of the 30 days and then one at the end instead of a combine. Hitting off a mat gives false hope. Great work though
I know for a fact the sign on the fence says no drivers
I think I got calluses on my hands from watching lol.
Good job though.
Now, time to putt 😅
…say “com-bine” one more time…lol
Those callous marks, you can't but that. You can buy new clubs, lessons, and that golf trip. That callous you have to earn.
🤘🏼 my hands still hurt!
if he's just hitting in a screen without any feedback then he's just exercising... He won't learn much without proper feedback... He'd just re-inforce bad swing habits. Plus beginner swings are not exactly efficient so he could really injure himself... Or just lose weight. ;)
Why isn’t he using the trackman?
Hi, we used the Rapsodo as our launch monitor for this video.
Him being “new” to the game is equivalent to a girl claiming virgin status when in fact she has a 200 bodycount.
This experiment doesn’t make any sense I’ve known men that have golf since they were 15 years old and they’re 80 years old and they still suck. The only way you get better is with proper techniques
Challenge someone to hit $100 balls a day? All that will achieve is compound their poor technical abilities
