Thank you to anyone leaving comments about helping me test multiplayer strategy. At some point soon I'll do an open invite livestream. I'll make a community post about it once I settle on a time.
I think that last sentiment is how I feel; I want to love and enjyo the game, but after all the seemingly unintentional frustration, I think I gotta take a step back and give them time to cook. Also, that was very informative!
The stalkers were annoying before because they somehow always managed to find me. I don't know how, but he always manages to walk directly in my direction no matter where I found him. I don't know how this thing is supposed to work. It teleports you, which comes off as unintentional, it paths directly to you, which comes off as bullshit, and it one-shots you, which feels like garbage. There's no conveyance. There's nothing that indicates or hints at it's behavior. It just finds you and kills you, or if it feels lazy, kills you somewhere where you aren't. Not to mention it's unkillable. Idk if it's full of bugs or if it cheats. It's a bad enemy in its current state. I won't play undergound cemetery because it's just not worth the frustration.
Drones are terrible. I was looting in Frozen Swamps and it seemed like they never stopped spawning and were instantly aggro'ed. Is multyplayer cross platform? I am on PC, and no one I know plays this😢
Personally I haven’t been having trouble with drones in this game, it’s been random Euruskan infantry built like space marines that walk up behind me and 2 shot me with their busted shotgun. Everything Euruskan is always out to kill me for some reason 😂. Europans be like “Aye who tf is this guy?? Well anyway, moving on.” Unless I’m like an inch away from them then they shoot.
@@ogregod3225 I prefer to run with the default gear and no meds or ammo and scavenge everything that I need to succeed from the battlefield. Drones have always been kryptonite for my playstyle but before I could avoid them. Now I have no choice but to bring a gun that can shoot down drones on every mission if I want to have a chance at succeeding. Because running away from them has become near impossible.
After seeing this I don't think I am buying this game anytime soon lol. It's way too buggy and it feels like they want to make it just another repetitive grind fest game by using its early access release as an excuse. I don't know why else they would have its water system and why a deathsquad spawns when you loot garbage. Also I think the "you're not that guy" thing was just for marketing. Survivors are regularly expected to deal with deathsquads and destroy mechs while looting valuable garbage that funds an entire armory of weapons. That isn't so bad since I don't mind being a scrappier master chief, but I wish that was made much clearer lol.
The main selling point of the game thusfar is the atmosphere and vibes, which are immaculate. Everything else about the game is very much a work in progress. Don't be scared of the water system. Farming water is laughably easy. Like 10 days of water takes about 3 minutes to obtain.
@Pillarofcreation1 I don't think I want to even spend a minute on the game when the best you can tell me is that it has more style(atmosphere ect..) over actual gameplay and mechanics and I just have to wait for the gameplay to get better. Now that I think of it. Even if the water system isn't that bad, it still would force me to play the game like once a week or so which is super annoying. Sounds like a chore lol. Seems like that is intended to make up for the buggy/unimplemented features to keep something of a concurrent population on steam charts. Glad you can enjoy it tho, but the game seems to have a scummy design to me.
@@hehheh6082 Early Access games have to start somewhere. I don't think the design is scummy, but the water system IS pretty much just a chore. If the water system is designed to keep people playing the game then it's badly designed. I actually think the water system works as a deterrent to stop more casual players from playing the game at all. I don't know what the dev's real intentions are behind the scenes though.

I think this is a great idea! Look forward to it happening
"I am so lonely 😢" lol

Bro, there is a whole ass Europan Medium Mech in the hangar in Mech Trenches.😂😂😂 Forget any quests in there.

I don't blame you. The dog is much more frustrating now then he was a few weeks ago.
I would actually love to help you out :)
AI cheating sucks.

I'm also on PC. Are you on the discord?

@ogregod3225 Damn Euruskans are built like tanks. They will walk off 40mm grenade hits.
@@Pillarofcreation1 I need to get in the server, but yeah.

I'd be interested in helping too, if you need it.
I got about 40 hours on this game and I got some disposable gear and guns. In other words I’ll be willing to help you out
