19:45 I don't highline but I have taught lead climbing indoors a couple of times and people tend to scoff at this one. You don't need a big loop like there is in the video to fuck a finger up. I took a fall on a knot that I had cranked down pretty hard on the ground and it managed to grab the skin on the side of my finger nail. All of the skin got pulled off and I was bleeding all over myself, the rope, and the wall. Not a major injury but a looser knot could do some serious damage or even amputate a finger.

I was once bitch slapped by a long figure eight tail, while whipping.
    Lesson learned.

Thanks for the nice video. Also, I love the way how you share you're personal experiences (read 'near dead incidents').

FYI, at 15:37 you called your gear loops you belay loops, should probably fix that. I really appreciate all the videos you make for the community, keep on being awesome!

Shit that’s scary that people miss tying in. It makes me think of people who miss bolts or skip them while climbing. I mean missing tying in is way more deadly but point being DAMN

I’m looking for a recommendation on a starter slackline kit to rig from a couple trees. I’m not ready for the highlines yet, but I gotta start somewhere.

Which obscure part of youtube was this tucked away in?

    Try to break rope/sling/binners with larger temperature difference, - 20 C to +30 C :)

Why do you tie in your leash (with a figure 8) to your harness every time? Why not use a carabiner to your leash?

It could cross load or come undone since whipping is so violent. It's very standard in climbing to also tie in too

Do y’all f*ck with chest harness so you can’t come out ? I mean I’ve seen upside down whippers be fine but you know

You're not totally correct on the suspension syndrome part, you should probably make an edit. ThreeFirstNames below has sort of made the point. Thanks for the other good info though:)

That is not what harness hang syndrome is, you have it ass backwards. Hanging upright in a harness for 5 min or more without moving can be fatal due to orthostatic hypotension. Fainting, which is a safety mechanism to get the head at or below the level of the heart to increase cerebral blood flow, when you are upright can easily be fatal. It's the same thing that happens at concerts in moshpits, never keep an unconscious or imobile person upright in a harness. That said, your right laying back in harness isn't fun
