Experience Australia Part 53 living in Mackay

After what seemed like forever we move into our house. Tal started work at the hospital and i was waiting for the weather to change so i could work on the cane fields. In the meantime we fixed a few things on the house and went exploring. First up we had to find a good coffee shop and we got lucky our local beach does coffee and pizza and beer. Right over from the beach. Drove up to Eungella for a beer and to find some Platypus , no platypus at the chalet so we checked Broken River which was weird having a river on top of the range. No luck finding the weird little creatures but we fed some turtles and had a swim. Went for a scout out to Belmunda looking for our next camping trip and its a great spot. Rode our bikes around and settled into the house. Still no furniture but we are used to that. Next couple of months saving for the next big trip cant wait.
