This album was a master piece in all senses. The five members gave their best, and it's a pity that Hizaki dissolve the band so soon. Fortunately he rescued Jasmine and Teru for Versailles.
Even more of a shame, The vocals, Juka, gets replaced by Seth in his previous band. Years later some of his tracks get released with new vocals... by Seth.
@@0rderSol Seth (Seiji) replaced Juka on Moi dix Mois, and Juka replaced Seth, Yoshi, Fuki, Masaki and Hikaru as stable singer for Hizaki's word... only for this album.
@@0rderSol half of this HGP album is composed of remakes of older tracks with differing vocalists. One of them (Mizerable) was originally sung by Seth/Seiji/Z.
juka's voice is so damn powerful what the fuck. it sounds a bit like gackt even. sounds pretty effortless. as much as i love kamijo, his voice isn't as natural as this.. too bad juka's retired. damn
@@ahm4519 IMHO the contact with Juka was essential for kamijo biuld that "deep and dark" style of singing, when he first produced Hizaki and Kaya careers. So, HGP with Juka on vocals was a turning point for both - For Juka to be in a real music market and lauch his name as solo singer later, and for Kamijo to build up a new identity as singer, after Lareine. Remembering - The music scene for both was: Juka recently left moi dix mois and had no experience as a real front man and composer, Kamijo was decided to work exclusively as music producer, and had a huge experience as frontman and creating all those concepts, but never tried to sing in that dark and heavy music style. Despite he was in touch with gackt and malice mizer in the past as roadie, his identity and singing style is way more light and androgynous, almost feminine, back in early 2000s. Unfortunately Juka received a lot of great oportunities in the past but havent biuld a succesful career as Kamijo, Kaya, and other music mates. He could be really a great reference in that style, like versailles was.:(

Kamijo is better composser than Juka, but Juka is Infinitely better singer from both vocal and technical point of view.
