Hey coach. What is your recommendation on how many events sprinters compete in at a meet in season? Some people think they can handle 4 events every meet, others think 4 events is too much. Love to hear your thoughts!
100% depends on athlete (fragile or workhorse) AND the time of the year AND importance of the meet. Early I run sprinters less, later more. Let the season build capacity.
Coach speaking of slack do you think one should “flex” their lats when sprinting? Somewhat like a lat spread but to lock in the arms.
I don’t think you should focus on flexing anything when you sprint. Stay loose!
Chris said at the beginning that he gets paid to create programs, does he sells programs for 100m/200m guys
Not specifically. Generally, yes. 100-200 is acceleration and speed.
