As someone who is very new to Necrons, I am enjoying watching these videos to see how to play without CTan spam. However I cannot stop myself from filling my army with scarabs as I love my little grenades
Love the video. Could've gone through some tips, trick and tactics on how to actually get the flying over mortal wounds to trigger. It's surprisingly difficult.
Loving these videos guys! Got into Dark Angels halfway through 9th and managed to grab Indomitus... Didn't wanna give Necrons away, and now I decided to just start them in 10th 😅😂 but it's nice to have some unit breakdowns rather than just codex reviews
With cynosure of eradication with a cryptek leading the unit, do they not share the keyword allowing plasmancer tesla immortals to continue using the strat?
@@rjhobday2578 great question! However, sadly not. GW amended the wording, so the strat now only impacts the wargear of cryptek or canoptek MODELS in the unit
found your Channel today, great Video ! i have 2 questions : #1 so if the Technomancer is with Wraiths that does mean that the whole Unit is Vurnable against Anti-Infantry shooting like Plague Spewer from Deathguard and such? #2 about the Stratagem 'Reactive Subroutines' if my opponent Deppstrikes a Unit on my let´s say Doomstalker can i use the Strat to move away from the Deepstriking Unit? or would it only work on things like 6"/3"Demons Deepstrike or the other 3" Deepstrikes like the Cosmic Precision?
EDITED #1 Yes, the entire unit counts as INFANTRY so would be vulnerable to weapons with the keyword ANTI-INFANTRY. EDITED #2 - not for standard deepstrike as the unit would be outside of 9" and the strat only activates if they're within 9". I'm glad you liked the video! :)
@@WorHammer40k one more thing cause the Strat says "one Canoptek Unit within 9" of the eneny unit" and if you arrive with deepstrike it says more than 9" away from all enemy models. So from the wording i shouldn't be allowed to use the Strat on my Doomstalker (or other units)who the enemy trys to ambush via Deepstrike?
@MrUdarr ah yes! It does say the enemy unit has to be within 9in. So when arriving from a deep strike, it would technically be 9in away and not with 9in. So you wouldn't be able to use it.
Yeah at around 15:13, you mention someone replaced a techno with a plasmancer relating to a MW bomb approach, also mentions they use grenades. Neither of these can be done as only techno can join wraiths and they also don’t have the grenades keyword
In the awakened dynasty you also have a counter to precision sniping your techno. 1CP bring the character back to life. Only 1 use per character, but a pain in the ass if your opponent. Watching my opponents weirdboy snipe him and then nearly kill himself through hazardous….abd then I stand him back up for 1 CP was a kick in the balls
Pretty sure you guys are wrong here. You can call it lame or 'rules lawyering if you want but as written, if 1 model of the wraith unit even clips the base of an enemy unit you roll a D6 for each model in the wraith unit whether they passed over a model or not
I think the actual rules make them much better than the version you first misread it as. Let's say you move over a tank using 6 wraiths and a technomancer. That's 7 rolls of 4+ so 3.5 expected damage vs something that otherwise might be hard to wound.
1:48 - This unit has Increased by 15 points. Squad of 3 now cost 125m and 6 cost 250. These changes came in effect from the 20th of June 2024.

Could you guys do one for one of the C'tan. I'm newish, but every time I play them they kinda do nothing.
Yes, there's one already on the transcendent c'tan but we're covering the others soon
