To provide context for Kansas' dominance in Allen Fieldhouse:
Duke has lost 14 games in Cameron Indoor since 2005.
Kentucky has lost 14 games in Rupp Arena since 2006.
Kansas has lost 14 games in Allen Fieldhouse since 1994.
Penn State students did a study for ESPN The Magazine on loudest college basketball arenas, and Allen Fieldhouse was ranked #1.
On February 25th, 2012, during a game vs Missouri, Allen Fieldhouse reached 127.3 dB, the loudest sound ever recorded in a basketball arena.

Ok, so I've been a K-State fan all my life but damn. I legit got chills when it said pay heed all who enter. And i had to crack a smile when i saw the crowd's reaction when chalmers made the three. I respect you Kansas. I respect you.

Giles Evans, do your a favor, please don't act like y'all are victims. If you want more Ku fans to respect you, stop saying things like F Ku, and other things. Stop whining when you don't get every call. Stop doing things like throwing dead chickens on your home floor, stop acting like this is a rivalry; it's not. Also do yourself a favor, and realize this is not a rivalry. It may be to K-State fans, but it's another game with Ku fans. And another thing, it doesn't make any sense for say K-State fan to talk about things like NCAA Tournament, or final four, or natl. championship. Talking about our tournament history, or Bill Selfs struggles in it. Cause at the end of the day, REMEMBER who K-State is. This may seem harsh, but K-State is one of the most underachieving programs in the history of college basketball. You know what underachieving means? It means you don't win, it means you don't meet exceptations, it basically means you are a well below average program. That's who you are. That's who Missouri is too. It makes me laugh when I hear any K-State fan or Missouri say bad things about Ku. Now if you guys were Duke, Carolina, or Kentucky fans, you might have a valid point, but here's some advice for you; don't bash a program who's better than you, and has the stats to prove it. Or has better tournament history, like titles, final fours, elite 8s, and Sweet 16s. But we can gang up on Duke though.
Giles Evans, and Wichita St. fans are at times just as bad if not worse. Wichita St. fans have it in them that they have this rivalry with Ku too, and I'm telling you it doesn't exist. You can't beat Ku one time in 20 years, and then since it's a rivalry. Then I can't stand their coach, Greg Little Man Marshall. Calling us Chickenhawks and stuff. I'm tired of everybody who does that because they think they are being funny, and they aren't. Then for some reason, Wichita St. fans think Ku is scared to play them and that's just not true; the fact is Ku plays competitive schedules every year, this year will be no different. There's no room for Wichita St, that's what it is. Wichita St. just hasn't done enough to sale themselves like say a program like Villanova has. 2 final fours, 2 titles. They will get more but doing that is why Kansas and Villanova agreed to this home and home schedule. I'm excited for it. But they had their chance when Self scheduled three games. He said a game in Lawrence, then in Wichita St., and a neutral one in Kansas City, MO. But he rejected that offer so that's on him. I'd say that's a pretty good offer. It hasn't come up since, then it has a lot to do with recruiting as well.

So much history in allen field house just a incredible place to go see a game.
This gave me goosebumps. I can't wait to be inside AFH again. It feels like home with 16,300 of my closest friends. (also, ha wasn't expecting to see myself in this video twice :D) Excellent job!

Allen Fieldhouse is one of the top 3 sports venues left all of sports . It's right there with Wrigley and Fenway. That record at home over the last 30/40 years is unbelievable. RCJH

That last Missouri game was wild as hell; classic game, and that was a hell of a rally by Ku. And that dunk by Thomas Robinson was nasty LOL! That shot by McLemore was clutch! He's the only person who probably could have made that shot.
Love the museum feel of some of the Older Kansas Items. I'd love to at least see a Game at Allen Fieldhouse once in my life before the postmodern world decides better and more modern like Boston Garden.
No way we will tear down Allen Fieldhouse . If anything we will add to it . But then again I never would have thought that they would have ever tore down wankee stadium either .

As a KU alumus, I believe the likes of UK, Duke, and UNC have nothing to envy between each other. Historical programs that maintain excellence throughout the decades have more in common with each other than not. I respect UK, the Roman Empire of College Basketball, as Rick Pitino once said -- unquestioned excellence! KU may not be the Roman Empire, but given our history, I'd like to think of us as the Cradle of Basketball Civilization. But for KU, UK & UNC wouldn't have had Rupp & Smith.

They have prank phone called our players, they have said things like F Ku, and all that. Not Ku fans said the same when they were in Lawrence. Then they whine when they don't get calls. Every time Ku would show up in their venue, they would throw things at us. But this is what really made me hate Missouri fans forever! It's when they made fun of the fact that Nick Collisions grandfather died, I will NEVER forget that! Then they did it again with Thomas Robinsons mother, who died. I mean, that's SICK! I'm sorry, but that's just being bullies. To make fun of somebody who has a dead relative or parent is just SICK! I mean the game he played when we went up to Missouri. I saw them NO MOM TOM signs those people had in the crowd. It's bad enough that Robinsons mom died, but his grandparents died too. All he has left is his 7 year old sister. She doesn't have a mother or grandparents anymore. Fact is, Missouri fans for the most part make themselves look bad, it's not Ku fans doing it for them.

I just went to my first game at AFH and honestly I get the hype but at the same time I don’t. It seemed like a normal college basketball stadium except it was extremely outdated. I think it has a lot to do with the colors, it felt like a circus and not as intimidating as it could be.
